Abstract

In order both to permit space-saving accommodation of vehicles and to guarantee automatic operation of a parking building, the latter has, in the centre of substantially circular parking planes (1), a rotatable tower, on which a vertically movable lifting platform (3) is mounted. The latter carries a support (4) which can travel in the longitudinal direction and by means of which a vehicle can be held and pushed on its own wheels into a parking place 32 or pulled away therefrom. <IMAGE>
