Description

Mobile toilet for use by bedridden patients with a carriage part and a supporting structure located above it, which consists of a cantilever-like, channel-like, curved hollow beam, at the outer end of which a receiving device is provided for receiving the patient's excretions, the hollow beam for deriving the excretions leads to a collection container.

Such toilets are intended in particular for hospitals or the like.

Toilet bowls are known which have to be pushed in or removed by the nursing staff in an unpleasant manner for the patient. Also known are portable toilet chairs for use in hospital rooms, for example, which, in addition to a warm water shower and a hair dryer, have a container for excretions and a device for supplying cleaning solution. The disadvantage of toilet chairs is the problem of usability by patients who cannot leave the bed. Furthermore, marine toilets are known, which u. a. have a conveyor belt device.

From US-A-2 349 091 a mobile toilet for use for bedridden patients is known, in which a receiving device for receiving the excretions of the patient is provided on a cantilever-like, channel-like, hollow hollow support, the hollow support being used for Derivation of the excretions leads to a collection container. In this known embodiment, the patient's excretions are either removed by the patient's own fluidity or, in the case of solid excretions, they have to be flushed into the collecting container with an appropriate rinsing liquid. This has the disadvantage that, due to the flushing liquid, the collecting container is filled very quickly, so that it has to be emptied frequently when the mobile toilet is in operation. In addition, in the known training there is still the risk that the settle solid excretions, for example in the area of the curvatures, which can result in a reduction in the passage cross section despite an increased amount of rinsing water and, in the worst case, a blockage of the device.

The disadvantages mentioned are avoided according to the invention in that a conveyor belt device which leads from below the receiving device to the collecting container is provided in the hollow carrier. As a result, the patient's solid excretions are actively guided from the receiving area of the toilet to the collection container and thrown into it, etc. characterized in that the conveyor belt device inevitably leads to the collecting container, where the deflection roller of the conveyor belt device is provided, so that by deflecting the conveyor belt, the transported solid excretions of the patient are thrown off or put down.

From FR-A-2 442 308 it is known per se to provide conveyor belts in toilet facilities with which the excretions of the user are removed from the area below the toilet bowl. In this known design, however, it is a toilet that is set up permanently and in which the conveyor belt serves to separate solid and liquid excretions, namely in that the solid components are discharged into appropriate ripening chambers, where the solid components then become humus rot. The liquid constituents emerge from the underside of the space containing the conveying device and are passed into a receiving water via a septic tank or a primary sewage treatment plant. In this known design, the conveying device therefore serves not only to remove the solid deposits, but essentially also to separate the solid and liquid phases, whereas in the case of the subject of the invention, both the solid and the liquid phases are removed via this conveyor belt, with the result that that due to the joint removal, an easier throwing off of the solid deposits from the conveyor belt device is achieved.

The aim of the invention is to compensate for the lack of technical equipment - in accordance with the standard of modern sanitary facilities - in the bedside To fix toilet facilities - which is associated with many inconveniences for the patient and which can ultimately have an adverse effect on the recovery process.

The conveyor belt of the conveyor belt device can advantageously be tightly guided along the longitudinal belt edges in guide grooves. Such a design is foreign to the already mentioned FR-PS 2 442 308, since in this known design a separation between solid and liquid deposits should be achieved, namely in that the liquid components can run off the side of the conveyor belt, whereas the solid components on Be thrown off when the conveyor belt is deflected. In contrast, in the subject matter of the invention, as already mentioned above, both the liquid and the solid constituents are conveyed away via the conveyor belt, as a result of which only a small amount of water is required for cleaning the belt, since the actual hollow carrier is not contaminated.

In addition, supply channels for cleaning agents and / or lubricants can be provided in the guide grooves, which on the one hand reduces friction and on the other hand eliminates the risk of infection.

Finally, the receiving device for the excretions of the patient can comprise an exchangeable toilet bowl, the toilet bowl having an opening comprising the floor area mentioned, the edges of which rest against the top of the conveyor belt and a lateral passage open to the interior of the channel-like hollow support is additionally provided. This ensures that the patient's excretions are deposited specifically on the conveyor belt, thereby avoiding contamination of the guide grooves by the deposited faeces. In addition, due to the interchangeability of the toilet bowl, it is possible that each patient has his own toilet bowl, which is very desirable for hygienic reasons.

A hospital bed 5 is shown schematically to illustrate the mode of operation. In addition to the collecting tank 4, there is a fresh water tank 6 on the device, from which rinsing water is removed for cleaning by appropriate pumping devices. After the cleaning processes, the disposal of the toilet bowl and the waste water tank, any necessary preheating of the rinse water, the cleaning of the disposal device, the ventilation, optionally available hair dryer and bidet devices etc. require energy, 7 denotes an electrical control device which uses electrical energy via a Connection cable and / or an electrical accumulator is supplied. In the car part 1 there is an odor filter 8, via which odor-laden air is discharged from the device into the room. A sliding handle 9 enables the mobile toilet to be maneuvered. The hollow beam 2 is adaptable to the height of the mattress of the bed 5 by means of a height adjustment device. In addition, for example, a spring device enables the hollow support 2, which is loaded by a patient, to rest on the mattress.

Die einsatzartigen Toilettenschüsseln 3 sind derartig ausgebildet, daß sie stapelbar sind.2 has a channel-like cavity 10 which connects the collecting container 4 at the lower end and the space of the toilet bowl 3 at the upper end. A conveyor belt 11 for disposal of the toilet bowl 3, which runs continuously or discontinuously during use, runs through the channel-like cavity 10. Odor-laden air is sucked out of the toilet bowl via the cavity 10 and an air connection 12. Spray systems 13, for example, are further functional elements in the cavity 10 for cleaning the conveyor belt and cleaning the cavity itself. The toilet bowl 3 includes all body contact surfaces with the patient and all side surfaces that can be contaminated and can be removed as an insert from the toilet support arm 2. The bottom opening of the toilet bowl 3 located within the opening edges 14 is closed in this area by the conveyor belt 11, so that the opening edges 14 practically represent sliding surfaces. The bottom opening within the opening edges 14 is widened towards the cavity 10, so that faeces carried on the conveyor belt 11 can be removed unhindered through the passage 15 thus formed. The toilet bowl 3 is also vented via the passage 15 of the toilet bowl 3 into the cavity 10. The insert-like toilet bowls 3 are designed such that they can be stacked.

This is promoted by the openings formed from the bottom openings 14 and the passages 15. The associated weight saving together with the low mechanical stress on the toilet bowl 3 supported by the hollow beam 2 in the seating area, in addition to the sterilizability, also a disposable solution, e.g. B. with plastic inserts.

In Fig. 3 the arrangement of the conveyor belt 11 in the cavity 10, where it runs in guide grooves 16, is shown. Below the returning (cleaned) run of the conveyor belt 11 there is a cavity 17, likewise enclosed by the toilet seat spar 2 and separated from the cavity 10. The cavity 18 formed between the upper and the lower run of the conveyor belt 11 and closed off by the sealing guide grooves 16 is optionally available Use of rinse water, pressurized water or cleaning liquid can be used. Another possibility of supplying cleaning liquids is via the channels 19 in the guide grooves 16. The cleaning liquid is pressed through the sealing surfaces and emerges on the conveyor belt 11 in the cavity 10. At the same time, for example, lubrication of the sealing surfaces and sliding surfaces as well as constant cleaning and sanitization of these critical corner regions of the cavity 10 can be achieved. Sitting on the toilet bowl 3 with the opening edges 14 on the The conveyor belt 11 and the recessed passage 15 as a continuation of the bottom opening covered by the conveyor belt 11 are also illustrated in FIG. 3.
