Description

The invention relates to a dry shaving apparatus with a sliding roller shutter, which is used to selectively cover or release a sieve shaving foil of the dry shaving apparatus and from which, when the roller shutter is displaced in the direction away from the sieve shaving foil and from the roller shutter released for shaving, the motor circuit for driving the Dry shaver is closed, such a position of the roller shutter is secured by a catch. Such a dry shaver is known from DE-OS 17 03 196.

The invention has set itself the goal of making a dry shaver of the type mentioned particularly user-friendly and to prevent incorrect operation. According to the invention, it is provided that in the case of a dry shaving apparatus which has a shaving head frame which is detachably held on a base apparatus and carries the screen shaving foil, the roller shutter can be pushed completely onto the base apparatus from the screen shear foil, a further position of the roller shutter being secured by a catch, in which the screen shaving foil and the shaving head frame are released from the roller shutter and the motor circuit is interrupted from the roller shutter. Dry shavers that have a shaving head frame that is detachably held on a base apparatus and that carries the sieve shaving foil give a user a simple possibility of cleaning or replacing the sieve shaving foil after the shaving head frame has been removed from the base apparatus. Such dry shavers are well known per se, see for example DE-OS 27 50 795. Such a dry shaver is now equipped with a roller shutter for optionally covering or releasing a screen shaving foil, which can be pushed completely onto the base apparatus from the screen shaving foil, in addition to the position of the roller shutter secured by a catch, in which the screen shaving foil is released from the roller shutter for shaving, the motor circuit is closed and the dry shaving apparatus is thus ready for shaving, another location of the Roller shutter is secured by a catch in which the screen shaving foil and the shaving head frame are released from the roller shutter, but the motor circuit is interrupted from the roller shutter. In this further position of the roller shutter secured by a catch, the shaving head frame can be removed from the basic apparatus, unhindered by the roller shutter, in order to clean the dry shaving apparatus or to replace the screen shaving foil without damage to the roller shutter, the shaving head frame or the screen shaving foil.

Seen in the direction of the displacement of the roller shutter away from the screen shear foil, such a further position secured by a latching of the roller shutter, in which the screen shear foil and the shaving head frame are released from the roller shutter and the motor circuit is interrupted by the roller shutter, either before or after the position of the roller shutter secured by a catch, in which the screen shaving foil is released from the roller shutter for shaving and the motor circuit is closed from the roller shutter. It has proven to be advantageous if, in the direction of the movement of the roller shutter away from the screen shaving foil, the further position of the roller shutter secured by a catch, in which the screen shaving foil and the shaving head frame are released from the roller shutter and the motor circuit is interrupted by the roller shutter, lies in front of the position of the roller shutter secured by a catch, in which the screen shaving foil is released from the roller shutter for shaving and the motor circuit is closed from the roller shutter. In this way, a particularly simple construction is obtained, since only an additional rest for the roller shutter is to be provided before the motor circuit is closed from the roller shutter, but the screen shaving foil and the shaving head frame are already released from the roller shutter.

Furthermore, it has proven to be advantageous if the roller shutter is provided with a viewing window through which the markings for these layers, which are secured to the basic apparatus by a latch, are visible. In this way, the user is signaled that the roller shutter is actually in the desired position.

The shaving head frame 2 is detachably held on the base apparatus 1 in a manner not shown here, for example with at least one resilient latching bolt. Such a shaving head frame is used to hold a curved screen shaving foil which is completely covered by a roller shutter 3 in FIGS. 1 and 2 in order to protect the screen shaving foil when the dry shaving apparatus is not in use. Such a roller shutter 3 is slidably arranged on the dry shaving apparatus, wherein it is guided on both sides in the groove-shaped guides 4 and 5 provided on the dry shaving apparatus and indicated by dashed lines in FIGS. 1 and 2. As can be seen, the roller shutter 3 can be pushed from the basic apparatus 1 over the shaving head frame 2 and the screen shaving foil, for which purpose the guides 4 and 5 for the roller shutter 3 from the basic apparatus 1 continue in the side walls 6 and 7 of the shaving head frame 2, where they then, adapted to the curvature of the screen shear film, run curved. If the dry shaving apparatus is to be used for shaving, the roller shutter 3 is pushed back from its position shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 onto the basic apparatus 1 until it releases the screen shaving foil for shaving, as shown in FIG. 3, whereby in the present case it is complete is pushed onto the base apparatus 1, so that the shaving head frame 2 is also released, on the longitudinal webs 8 of which the screen shear film 9 is held. In this position of the roller shutter secured by a catch, the motor circuit for driving the dry shaving apparatus is closed from the roller shutter, so that it is ready for shaving.

In the present exemplary embodiment, the roller shutter 3 has a grip strip 10 at its end facing away from the screen shear foil 9, so that it can be moved easily by hand. This grip strip 10 of the roller shutter 3 is used both to form a latch for the roller shutter and to close the motor circuit. To form the Rest for the roller shutter 3, the handle part 10 has on its side facing the apparatus housing 11 two spaced-apart, dome-shaped depressions 12 and 13, which are intended to interact with balls 14 and 15 projecting from the apparatus housing 11. As soon as the roller shutter 3 is moved into the position shown in FIG. 3, the balls 14 and 15 snap into the recesses 12 and 13 and thus secure the position of the roller shutter. The arrangement of one of these balls, for example the ball 14, on the apparatus housing 11 is shown in FIG. 5. For this purpose, a ball cage is provided on the apparatus housing 11, which is formed by a hollow cylindrical projection 17 closed off with a cover 16, in which the ball 14 is inserted together with a spring 18, which then protrudes in a dome shape through an opening 19 provided in the apparatus housing 11 extends into the path of the handle part 10 of the roller shutter 3. Instead of such ball catches, other catches could of course also be provided within the framework of the prior art known for this purpose, such as hook-shaped or fork-shaped catches. At the level of this detent formed by the balls 14 and 15, a pushbutton switch 20 is arranged in the apparatus housing 11, as shown in FIG. 6, with its switching arm 21 projecting through an opening 22 provided in the apparatus housing 11, to the extent that it extends into the path of the handle part 10 of the roller shutter 3, so that it can be pressed down by the handle part 10 as soon as the handle part 10, upon displacement of the roller shutter in the direction away from the screen shear film, runs onto it, whereby the key switch 20 is closed. This pushbutton switch 20 is located in the motor circuit of the dry shaving apparatus, so that the motor circuit is closed from the roller shutter 3 as soon as the roller shutter assumes the position shown in FIG. In this position of the roller shutter, the dry shaver is then ready for shaving.

On such a dry shaving apparatus, a further catch for the roller shutter 3 is now provided, which defines a position of the roller shutter in which it releases the screen shaving foil and the shaving head frame, but the motor circuit is interrupted by the roller shutter. As FIG. 4 shows, this further position of the roll is in the present exemplary embodiment dens 3 chosen so that, seen in the direction of the displacement of the roller shutter away from the screen shaving foil 9, lies in front of the position of the roller shutter secured by the balls 14 and 15, in which the motor circuit is closed from the roller shutter. For this purpose, two further balls 23 and 24 projecting from the apparatus housing 11 are provided, which likewise protrude into the path of the handle part 10 of the roller shutter 3 and which, when the roller shutter is displaced away from the screen shear film, into the recesses 12 and 12 provided on the handle part 10 13 click into place. As can be seen, in such a further position of the roller shutter, in which the roller shutter releases the screen shaving foil and the shaving head frame, the pushbutton switch 20 in the motor circuit is not actuated from the roller shutter 3, since the handle part 10 of the roller shutter has not yet reached the switching arm 21, so that the motor circuit is interrupted. This is achieved in a particularly simple manner only by the provision of the two further balls 23 and 24. In this further position of the roller shutter secured by a catch, the shaving head frame 2 can then be removed unhindered from the roller shutter 3 by the basic apparatus 1 when the dry shaving apparatus is not ready for operation, for example to carry out cleaning or to replace the screen shaving foil, with no damage to the roller shutter, the shaving head frame or the screen shaving foil can take place because the roller shutter 3 is completely on the basic apparatus 1.

If the roller shutter is moved out of this position secured by the balls 23 and 24 further away from the screen shaving foil, it then reaches the position secured by the balls 14 and 15, in which the motor circuit is closed by the roller shutter 3 and the dry shaving apparatus for shaving is ready for operation, as was explained with reference to FIG. 3. As can be seen, in the present exemplary embodiment, the screen shaving foil and the shaving head frame are released from the roller shutter in both positions of the roller shutter secured by a catch.

In the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 7, 8 and 9, ball catches are again provided to secure the two layers of the roller shutter 3, which cooperate with spherical depressions 12 and 13 on the handle part 10 of the roller shutter 3, wherein but now seen in the direction of the displacement of the roller shutter away from the Siebscher film, the position of the roller shutter, in which the motor circuit is closed from the roller shutter, lies before the further position of the roller shutter, in which the motor circuit is interrupted by the roller shutter. Accordingly, viewed in the direction of displacement of the roller shutter away from the screen shaving foil, the balls labeled 14 and 15 lie in front of the balls labeled 23 and 24 in order to choose the same designation as in the previously described embodiment. To interrupt and close the motor circuit, a slide switch is used here, which, viewed in the direction of displacement, has three positions, namely a first switch-off position, a switch-on position and a second switch-off position. The switching arm 25 of such a slide switch, not shown here, protrudes from a slot 26 provided in the device housing 11, again into the path of the handle part 10 of the roller shutter 3. Corresponding to this switching arm 25 is on the side facing the device housing 11 of the handle part 10 of the roller shutter 3, a further recess 27 is provided, which serves for coupling the handle part 10 and thus the roller shutter 3 with the switching arm 25.

If the roller shutter is moved away from the screen shear film from the position shown in FIG. 7, as soon as the handle part 10 reaches the switching arm 25, the switching arm 25 snaps into the recess 27 on the handle part 10 and thus the roller shutter is coupled 3 with the switching arm 25. When the roller shutter 3 is moved further away from the screen shaving foil, the switching arm 25 is then carried along by the roller shutter 3 until the balls 14 and 15 engage in the recesses 12 and 13 on the handle part 10 of the roller shutter 3 and secure the position cause the roller shutter 3. In this position of the roller shutter 3, the screen shaving foil 9 has already been released by the roller shutter 3 for shaving, but not the shaving head frame 2, as shown in FIG. 8. Due to the fact that the switching arm 25 was taken along by the roller shutter 3, the slide switch was brought from its first switch-off position to its switch-on position and thus the motor circuit for driving the Dry shaving apparatus closed, whereby in this position of the roller shutter 3 the dry shaving apparatus is ready for operation when the screen shaving foil 9 is released from the roller shutter 3 for shaving. If desired, the position of the roller shutter 3 secured by the balls 14 and 15, with a correspondingly long displacement path for the roller shutter 3, could also be selected here such that the roller shutter 3 is pushed completely onto the basic apparatus 1 and thus the screen shear foil 9 and the shaving head frame 2 are released from the roller shutter 3, as was the case in the exemplary embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 4.

From the position of the roller shutter 3 described above, which is secured by the balls 14 and 15, the latter can now be moved even further in the direction away from the screen shear foil until the balls 23 and 24 snap into the recesses 12 and 13 on the handle part 10 of the roller shutter 3, and secure another position of the roller shutter. In this further position of the roller shutter 3, it is now pushed completely onto the basic apparatus 1, whereby it releases both the screen shaving foil 9 and the shaving head frame 2, as shown in FIG. 9. With this further displacement of the roller shutter 3, the switching arm 25 is again carried along by the roller shutter 3, as a result of which the switching arm is brought from its switch-on position to its second switch-off position, as a result of which the motor circuit is interrupted. In this further position of the roller shutter 3, which is secured by the balls 23 and 24 and in which the dry shaving apparatus is not ready for operation, the shaving head frame 2 can then be removed from the roller shutter 3 unhindered by the base apparatus 1, for example in order to carry out cleaning or to replace the screen shaving foil.

If the roller shutter 3 is moved from this further position secured by the balls 23 and 24 in the opposite direction to the screen shear foil 9, the roller shutter 3 returns to the position secured by the balls 14 and 15, the switching arm 25 being carried along and the slide switch is brought from its second switch-off position to its switch-on position and the dry shaver is thus ready for operation again. When the roller shutter 3 is moved further toward the screen shear foil 9, the roller shutter 3 leaves the position secured by the balls 14 and 15, again taking the switching arm 25 with it and this bringing the slide switch into its first switch-off position, as a result of which the motor circuit is interrupted again. If the roller shutter 3 is moved even further towards the screen shear foil 9, the switching arm 25 reaches its end position limited by the slot 26 provided in the apparatus housing 11, beyond which it can no longer be carried along by the roller shutter 3, with the result that the switching arm 25, disengages from the recess 27 provided on the handle part 10 of the roller shutter 3 and thus the coupling of the switching arm 25 with the roller shutter 3 is released, so that the latter can then be moved on its own until it finally completely covers the screen shear foil 9.

With regard to a clear identification of the two positions of the roller shutter 3 secured by a catch for a user of the dry shaving apparatus, it has proven to be advantageous if the roller shutter is provided with a viewing window through which the markings for the roller shutter in these two layers are attached these layers are visible. As can be seen from FIGS. 10 and 11, such a viewing window 28 is provided, for example, in the handle part 10 of the roller shutter 13. In the position of the roller shutter 3 secured by the balls 14 and 15, in which the screen shaving foil 9 is released from the roller shutter 3 for shaving and the motor circuit is closed from the roller shutter 3, for example, as shown in FIG Lettering "ON" to see what indicates the operational readiness of the dry shaver for shaving. In the position of the roller shutter 3 secured by the balls 23 and 24, in which the screen shaving foil 9 and the shaving head frame 2 are released from the roller shutter 3 and the motor circuit is interrupted from the roller shutter 3, the symbol is then, for example, as shown in FIG. 11 a brush to see, which indicates that the shaving head frame 2 can be removed from the roller shutter 3 unhindered from the basic apparatus 1, for example to carry out cleaning. For example, a further symbol could also be provided on the basic apparatus 1, which can be seen in the position of the roller shutter 3 through the viewing window 28, in which the roller shutter 3 completely covers and protects the screen shear foil 9.

Of course, there are still a number of possible modifications to the exemplary embodiments described above, without thereby leaving the scope of the invention. This applies in particular with regard to the design of the catches securing the two layers of the roller shutter and the manner in which the motor circuit of the dry shaving apparatus is switched on and off.
