Abstract

Der elektrische Steckkontaktverbinder umfaßt einen an einem Gerätegehäuse festlegbaren metallischen, zweiteiligen Verbinderrahmen (1), einen zwischen den beiden Rahmenteilen (2, 3) eingeschlossenen zweiteiligen Isolierstoffkörper (4, 5) mit einer Veilzahl von Bohrungen für die Aufnahme von Kontakt­ elementen (6, 7) in Form von Steckerstiften, Steckbuchsen oder dergl., die an der Verbinderrückseite an elektrische Leitungen anschließbar sind. Auf die an der Verbindervorderseite zu einem Vielfachstecker zusammengefaßte Gegenkontaktelemente aufsteckbar sind. Der Isolierstoffkörper umfaßt eine vorder­ seitige Stütz- und Führungsplatte (4) aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff sowie eine rückseitige Platte (5). Zur Erzielung einer einwandfreien Abdichtung ist die rückseitige Platte als Dichtplatte (5) aus gummielastischem Kunstoff ausgebildet und so in Bezug auf die ihr zugewandte Fläche der am nach außen abgebogenen Flansch (12) des Rahmenvorderteils (2) anliegenden Stütz- und Führungsplatte (4) bemessen, daß sie sich mit ihrem Randbereich (13) nach Verbindung beider Rahmenteile mitein­ ander unter Sicherstellung einer einwandfreien Abdichtung an einem nach innen eingezogenen Stützrand (14) des Rahmenrück­ teils (3) abstützt.
