Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a device intended for marking, on the back of a photographic print, data carried in part on the corresponding negative, this data being for example constituted by the number of the view and possibly by the addition of the date in clear.
When a user wishes to print new copies of one or more photos of which he has a print, it is often difficult and unusual for him to read the negatives to determine precisely which one corresponds to a specific print.
- une unité logique centrale de traitement et de commande;
- un dispositif apte à faire défiler ce film en le faisant passer d'une bobine amont sur une bobine aval ;
- un dispositif apte à faire défiler cette bande-papier en la faisant passer d'une bobine amont sur une bobine aval, au moins un de ces deux dispositifs recevant de l'unité logique des ordres de synchronisation de sa vitesse de défilement avec la vitesse de défilement de l'autre dispositif ;
- un premier détecteur qui fournit à l'unité logique un signal de détection d'une encoche sur le négatif ;
- un deuxième détecteur qui fournit à l'unité logique un signal de détection d'une perforation sur la bande de tirage papier ;
- un premier moyen de fourniture à l'unité logique d'une information représentative de la vitesse de défilement du film ;
- un deuxième moyen de fourniture à l'unité logique d'une infor mation représentative de la vitesse de défilement de la bande de tirage-papier ;
The invention aims to resolve this difficulty, by an automatic marking device for the number of the negative on the back of the paper print, and the operation of which uses the presence of the notch made at the edge of the negative of each drawable view after development of the negative. It is a half-moon notch placed in the middle of the view on the edge opposite to that on which the number of this view is written. Note that not all views are drawn, and on paper, there are also perforations called cuts which each mark the separation between two successive prints. The negatives constitute a film, and the photographic prints constitute a strip of print-paper which carries perforations, called sorting, marking the beginning and the end of a Customer order. The device according to the invention comprises:
- a central logical processing and control unit;
- A device capable of scrolling this film by passing it from an upstream reel to a downstream reel;
a device able to scroll this strip of paper by passing it from an upstream reel to a downstream reel, at least one of these two devices receiving orders from the logic unit to synchronize its running speed with the speed scrolling from the other device;
- a first detector which supplies the logic unit with a signal for detecting a notch on the negative;
- a second detector which supplies the logic unit with a signal for detecting a perforation on the paper print strip;
a first means of supplying the logic unit with information representative of the speed of travel of the film;
- a second means of supplying the logical unit with information mation representative of the running speed of the paper-printing strip;
a device for taking pictures able to photograph, in response to a notch detection, at least part of the data carried on this negative, and to transmit this photograph in digitized form to the logic unit; and
- a writing head, controlled by this logical unit, and able to transcribe this data photographed on the back of the paper print which corresponds to this negative.
In any case, the invention will be well understood, and its advantages and other characteristics will emerge during the following description of a nonlimiting exemplary embodiment, with reference to the single and schematic figure appended.
In this figure, the developed film 1, which contains all of the
- vitesse de défilement du film 1, reçue par une connexion 14 reliée à une roue codeuse 15 ;
- vitesse de défilement de la bande de tirage papier 8 reçue par une connexion 17 reliée à une roue codeuse 16 ;
- impulsion de détection du passage d'une encoche 7 du film 1, correspondant à un négatif déterminé 25 et reçue par une connexion 18 reliée à un capteur 19 ;
- impulsion de détection d'une perforation 12 de la bande de tirage-papier 8, reçue par une connexion 23 reliée à un autre capteur 24 ;
A central logic processing and

Le fonctionnement du dispositif représenté est le suivant :The operation of the device shown is as follows:
The passage at the level of the
When passing in front of a
The invention is of course not limited to this nonlimiting exemplary embodiment. The installation which has just been described can very well be fully integrated into an automatic photographic printing machine. In such a case, the tachometric measurements are not carried out by coding wheels but are simply extracted from tachometers necessarily present in this drawing machine. Instead of providing for a continuous scrolling of the bands (1,8), or may also provide that they stop, together or separately, at the time of shooting by the
