Grundsätzlich wäre es aber auch denkbar, die Anschlußklemmeneinrichtung 6 im Zusammenhang mit anderen Geräten zu verwenden, bspw. derart, daß das Teilgehäuse 41 an einen Flansch eines Spulenkörpers eines kleinen Transformators etc. angeformt ist. Schließlich wäre es auch vorstellbar, daß die Anschlußklemmeinrichtung 6, bestehend aus dem mit den Klemmeinsätzen 23 bestückten Klemmengehäuse 7 und dem das Unterteil bildenden Teilgehäuse 41 als selbständige Klemmeinrichtung Verwendung findet. In diesem Falle wäre das Teilgehäuse 41 gegebenenfalls durch eine ebene Bodenwand und eine Rückwand verschlossen, wobei in den Wänden des Klemmgehäuses 7 und des Teilgehäuses 41 entsprechende Aussparungen für die Anschlußdraht-Einführung vorzusehen sind.In the foregoing, the invention was described in connection with the special winding head insulation by the housing 3 of a choke or a transformer. Claims (21)

  1. A terminal device, more particularly for chokes or transformers, having: at least one metal terminal insert (23) having two terminal arms (30) disposed extending spaced out and bearing two knife-blade contacts (34) which point towards one another and bound two slot-like openings (32) which are open at the edges and the width of each of which is smaller than the diameter of a connecting wire (35) to be received; and a terminal casing (7) of insulating material which is formed with recesses (14, 15) for connecting wires, characterized in that the at least one terminal insert (23) is constructed in the form of a screw-type terminal having a connection bore (25) disposed in a solid terminal body (24) adapted to receive connecting wires and a terminal screw (27) which can be screwed into a corresponding threaded bore (26) extending into the connection bore (25); the two terminal arms (30) are disposed on the bottom side (28) of the solid terminal body (24); the terminal insert (23) is inserted with its terminal body (24) sealing-tight in the direction of the terminal screw (27) into the terminal casing (7); and the terminal casing (7) is fitted on to a bottom member (41) of insulating material which covers at least the terminal insert (23).
  2. A terminal device according to claim 1, characterized in that the slot-like opening (32) has a length exceeding the diameter of a number of connecting wires (35) to be received.
  3. A terminal device according to claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the solid terminal body (24) has at least two intersecting connection bores (25).
  4. A terminal device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the bottom zone (36) of the terminal body (24) bearing the terminal arms (30) is constructed substantially rigid and the other wall zones (39) bounding the or each connecting bore (25) are constructed resiliently deformably, so that the tightened terminal screw (27) can be put under prestressing by the resiliently deformed wall zones (39), accompanied by an elongate deformation of the or each connection bore (25), the bottom zone (36) remaining substantially undeformed.
  5. A terminal device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the terminal casing (7) has at least one chamber (20) into which the terminal body (24) is pressed vacuum-tight.
  6. A terminal device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the terminal casing (7) has a moulded-on cover (22) which receives the terminal screw (27) and which can be opened after the insertion of the terminal insert (23) and following impregnation.
  7. A terminal device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that recesses (53) for connecting wires of the terminal casing (7), which extend to the or each connection bore (25) of the terminal insert (23), are closed when the terminal insert (23) is inserted and can be opened following impregnation.
  8. A terminal device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the bottom member (41) has at least one support (46) for connecting wires (35) which extends between the terminal arms (30) when the terminal casing (7) is fitted on.
  9. A terminal device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the terminal arms (30) are constructed partially cylindrical.
  10. A terminal device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the terminal arms (30) laterally enclose a channel-like elongate recess (33) into which at least one slot-like opening (32) leads.
  11. A terminal device according to claim 10, characterized in that the channel-like recess (33) is cylindrical.
  12. A terminal device according to claim 8 and one of claims 9 to 11, characterized in that the support is constructed after the fashion of a pin (46) moulded on the lower portion (41) and extending into the channel-like recess (33).
  13. A terminal device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the terminal casing (7) and the bottom member (41) have latching means (44, 45) via which they can be latched to one another.
  14. A terminal device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the terminal casing (7) and/or the bottom member (41) are formed with recesses (50, 51) via which the terminal insert (23) can be brought into contact from outside with a contact member when the terminal casing (7) is joined to the bottom member (41).
  15. A terminal device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the terminal casing (7) and/or the bottom member (41) forms or form part of the winding insulation (3, 4, 5) or of a bobbin of the choke or transformer.
  16. A terminal device according to claim 15, characterized in that the terminal casing (7) or the bottom member (41) is constructed in the form of a cap-like casing to at least partially cover a winding overhang of the choke or transformer.
  17. A terminal device according to claim 16, characterized in that the cap-like casing has a moulded-on tongue (5) which can be introduced into a gap between the winding overhang and the core stack (1) of the choke or transformer.
  18. A terminal device according to claim 17, characterized in that on the side adjacent the free end of the tongue (5) the cap-like casing (3, 41) forming the bottom member (41) is closed by the fitted-on terminal casing (7).
  19. A terminal device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the terminal casing (7) has for an electric switch element a receiving space (13) which is possibly closable by a fitted-on cover (16) and into which inlets (14, 15, 54) for connecting wires extend.
  20. A terminal device according to claim 19, characterized in that the receiving space (13) is disposed lying between terminal inserts (23) on a narrow side of the terminal casing (7).
  21. A terminal device according to one of claims 16 to 20, characterized in that at least on its front side the terminal casing (7) terminates substantially flush with the front wall of the cap-like casing (3) or projecting only slightly therebeyond.
