Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a railway superstructure according to the preamble of claim 1.
Solid carriageways for track gratings made of asphalt or concrete, which have proven their worth in road construction, are intended to enable future rail traffic with higher loads and higher speeds.
It is known to stick Y-steel sleepers of a track grating directly onto an asphalt base layer with elastic, vibration-damping adhesive (DE-OS 35 17 295).
In practice it has been shown that this method has considerable disadvantages:
- the asphalt base course must be dry when applying the adhesive, so the construction site may have to be covered over a large area,
- Subsequent corrections of the threshold layer are only possible by time-consuming destruction of the adhesive layer,
- the adhesive is usually strongly temperature-dependent and so winter construction is problematic, and the adhesive thickness fluctuates with the viscosity of the adhesive,
- Much more expensive adhesive remains unused because the later threshold position is not known when it is applied and therefore adhesive is applied over a large area,
- The adhesive must be protected against the sun from gravel.
For the position fixation of the sleepers there is, for example, the proven possibility of screwing with anchor bolts (magazine ETR (28) 5 - 1979, page 437/438). This publication proposes a special top asphalt layer instead of an adhesive in order to ensure the load distribution from the rails over the sleepers to the base layer consisting of coarse, partly face-milled asphalt concrete for cost reasons. This special cover asphalt layer has almost all the disadvantages of the adhesive mentioned.
Therefore, the invention has for its object to propose a means that a full-surface load-distributing support of the sleepers and their subsequent position correction on the relatively coarse surface of the solid substructure enables, but resistant to environmental influences - water, oil, aggressive liquids, temperature - as well as abrasion, vibration and aging, the track laying is possible in all weather conditions and is cheap to manufacture.
This object is achieved in the generic railway superstructure by the characterizing features of claim 1.
Advantageous developments of the invention are covered in the subclaims.
The advantage of the inventive solution is that the unevenness of the surface of a solid base layer made of asphalt, asphalt concrete, concrete and / or the underside of the sleepers is compensated for and the compensating film has a vibration-damping effect, but it also allows for a displacement of the sleepers after initial positioning without the compensating film to destroy.
Due to the sinusoidal traction on the rails and the resulting side forces in connection with the axial forces and bending moments that arise when rolling over the sleeper, an elliptical oscillating movement of each individual point of the underside of the sleeper occurs relative to the surface of the solid base layer. As a result, the underside of the sleeper or the base layer surface is rubbed off until a full support with a high proportion of the contact surfaces is created.
Wooden or concrete sleepers withstand such abrasion less than steel sleepers; On the other hand, steel sleepers vibrate more.
Films made of gas-filled foamed or rubber-like material, which behaves elastically and is so compressible that the surface roughness can be compensated, are ideal as a threshold underlay.
Closed-cell foam cannot absorb liquids and is therefore not destroyed by aggressive media or when water is absorbed by frost.
Low density PUR foam has proven to be an acceptable material; it is also resistant to UV light. Alternatively, a bitumen-impregnated, water-repellent cardboard with sufficient tear strength and low demands on load-bearing capacity and aging could also suffice. Tests also showed the usability of bituminous natural cork. The compensation foil could already be attached under the threshold at the factory. A glue-containing coating of the compensation film would make it easier to apply under the threshold. On the other hand, it is also conceivable that the threshold is provided with adhesive and the compensating film is given a protective coating to protect it from transport damage until both parts are joined together on the construction site.
An exemplary embodiment is intended to explain the invention in more detail: In the manufacturing plant, a concrete sleeper is glued under its support surfaces with a 5 mm thick PUR foam film using a weatherproof contact adhesive. The film has a modulus of elasticity of 10 MPa and a density of 25 kg / m³ and has approximately 90% closed-cell gas pores. During transport to the construction site, the soft compensation film is protected from transport damage with a tear-resistant cover.
After the threshold has been positioned for the first time on the solid asphalt surface at the intended place of use, it can be raised and relocated again and again without impairing the function of the compensating film.
A reversible elastic threshold offset of max. 0.5 mm determined by lateral displacement forces. The position of the leveling film on the solid asphalt layer or under the threshold did not change.
