Abstract

So that a fitting can be made especially narrow and also be used for opening to the right and to the left, whilst at the same time the load-bearing capacity will be preserved despite the reduced width (10), the upper scissor bearing (6) consists of a carrier plate (16) and of two separately produced bearing parts (13 and 14) mounted, especially rivetted, onto the plate-shaped support plate (6). These are equipped with bearing lugs (11 and 12), between which is mounted the end of a scissor arm (7) or of set-out scissors which is fixed to the frame. Whilst the two bearing parts (13 and 14) are preferably produced from die-cast zinc, the carrier plate (16) consists of steel, thus guaranteeing the high load-bearing capacity, whilst ensuring a comparatively small cross-section. A high load-bearing capacity is also guaranteed by the use of a carrier body (37), designed as a corner angle, for the lower corner bearing (5). The load-bearing capacity is ensured by the use of a carrier journal (44) and of a stop member (50) on the bearing block (39), rotatable about the axis (38), for the bearing journal (8). <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a fitting for an at least tiltable sash of a window, a door or the like, with an upper scissor stay bearing or the like, two bearing eyes arranged at a vertical distance from one another for connection to a deployment arm. has, wherein the scissor bearing has a support plate for a positively connected bearing element with the two, in particular molded, bearing eyes. Such a fitting is known from DE-A-27 27 585. This scissor-type bearing can be adjusted to a predetermined extent by moving the bearing element relative to the supporting plate with the aid of an eccentric rotatably mounted on the supporting plate. This eccentric adjustment leads overall to a relatively wide design of this fitting.

Windows and doors with narrow window frame cross-sections often encounter space problems. This is mainly due to the fact that a sufficient distance must be maintained from the outer edge of the frame profile so that the frame can be properly installed, for example cleaned. In particular in the renovation of old houses, blind frames made of plastic profiles with narrow cross sections are often used. The fitting described above would not be suitable for installation in such a frame.

It is therefore the task of developing a fitting of the type described above so that it is also suitable for installation in narrow profiles, but the load-bearing capacity must be retained, and the assembly must not require any additional effort.

To solve this problem it is proposed according to the invention that the fitting is designed according to the preamble of claim 1 in accordance with the characterizing part of this claim.

By dispensing with the eccentric transverse adjustment, a relatively narrow support plate is sufficient, so that the entire fitting can be built quite narrow as required. The separate production of the bearing parts receiving the bearing pin for the deployment arm or the stay scissors on the one hand, and the support plate to which the bearing parts are attached on the other hand, enables the use of different materials for the bearing parts and the support plate. Thus, this scissor stay or this fitting easily copes with the loads that occur despite the reduced size, in particular the reduced width. The additional effort resulting from the two-part design of the bearing part and its assembly is justified by the fact that this bearing can now be made narrow and can therefore also be installed in windows and doors with narrow profiles, where this was previously not possible due to the large dimensions. On the other hand, the costs are reduced by eliminating the complex eccentric adjustment. In addition, this bearing can of course also be used with wide frames, so that there is a larger area of application available overall, which increases the series and thereby reduces the price. The larger series alone can easily compensate for the additional costs from the two-part design of the bearing part.

The size of the second bearing leg can therefore be kept relatively small because it only has to accommodate the bearing bore for the bearing axis of the scissor bearing. In contrast, it is advantageous if the first angle leg to be mounted on the support plate is made comparatively long and, if appropriate, also correspondingly thick, so that, despite the smaller width compared to the known fittings, it has a cross section which is sufficient for the load which occurs. Thus, judges the size of the support plate according to the size of the two bearing parts and the required distance between the two bearing eyes.

Installation is facilitated and accelerated by the positive connection of the support plate and bearing parts. This also benefits stability. The end of the support plate is encompassed by the associated bearing part on three sides, namely the two long sides and the free transverse edge.

The rivet secures the positive connection between the support plate and each bearing part, at least the support plate having a corresponding hole for the rivet at the intended location.

A further development of the invention provides that the bearing part has a rivet attachment and is in particular made of die-cast material. The latter is preferably die-cast zinc. Forming a rivet attachment simplifies and accelerates riveting considerably.

Another embodiment of this fitting results from claim 3. The projections mentioned therein point against the wing-side bearing of the extension arm or the extension scissors and they extend to a certain extent a receiving recess in the support plate for the end of the extension arm on the fixed frame side. The extension arm is particularly popular for windows or doors with plastic frames od. Like. In the sealing area in the rebate space without the seal is interrupted there. The advantage of the spike-like projections of this fitting is that, in the case in question, the scissors can be passed under the seal without special bevels and thus without weakening, and the seal can nevertheless adapt well in this area.

As mentioned at the beginning, the fitting is for an at least tiltable sash of a window; a door or the like provided with an upper scissor stay. The lower wing end is held and guided in a lower corner bearing. In a known manner, however, in addition to this lower corner bearing in the area or near the closing side of the wing, a second bearing is provided which, together with the corner bearing, supports the wing in the tilted position, the horizontal lower tilting axis being known by this construction of the closing-side support bearing which is known per se in its construction and the lower corner bearing runs. In the case of a tilt and turn wing, the corner bearing preferably also forms the lower half of the pivot bearing. The upper pivot bearing is then conveniently located in the scissor stay.

In Fig. 1, the wing inserted into the frame 1 is designated 2. On the closing side there is an operating handle 3 which is used at least to unlock the locking device, not shown, which is designed in a known manner. The wing 1 can be tilted at least about a lower horizontal axis. For this purpose, a known, lower support bearing 4, a lower corner bearing 5 and an upper scissor bearing 6 are provided, to which the fixed frame end of one with its other end on the wing 2 each rotatable and in a known manner on the wing also scissors mounted. or Ausstellarms 7 is articulated. The trunnion or journal 8 of the corner bearing 5 engages in the bearing sleeve of the wing hinge 9 from below. If it is is a turn-tilt sash, there is a corresponding change-over gear in the area of the operating handle 3 for changing the fitting from turning to tilting and for locking and unlocking in the closed position.

The upper scissor bearing 6 is placed on the surface facing the interior of the fixed frame or frame 1 and attached to it in the manner described below. Both this frame and the wing are constructed in a manner not shown from profile bars, in particular from plastic profiles. For this reason, the width 10 of the bearing 6 must be kept as small as possible. The upper scissor bearing 6 is provided in a manner known per se with two bearing eyes 11 and 12 arranged at a vertical distance from one another, each of which is attached to a bearing part 13 or 14, in particular integrally formed thereon. The end of the scissor arm or extension arm 7 engages in the gap space formed by the distance between the two bearing eyes. All three are then penetrated by a bearing pin, which is symbolized by the geometric axis 15. In the case of a rotary tilting bearing, this geometric axis 15 also forms the upper end of the wing rotation axis.

20 bildet. The two bearing parts 13 and 14 are in particular riveted to a support plate 16. Each bearing part 13, 14 has, as for example Fig. 2 of the drawing shows a substantially angular shape, a first, in particular longer angle leg 17 serves as a fastening leg, which bears against the associated end region of the support plate, while the second, preferably shorter angle leg 18 forms the bearing eye with the bearing bore 19 or 20.

The support plate 16 is positively connected to each bearing part 13 or 14. For this reason, the first angle leg 17 of each bearing part has an edge 21 which projects against the second angle leg 18 and which surrounds the associated end piece of the support plate 16, in particular on three sides, that is to say in a U-shape. Each bearing part is equipped with a preferably integrally formed rivet attachment 22 which, when the bearing part is attached, passes through a rivet bore 60 of the support plate, the free end then being permanently deformed to form a rivet head.

28 versehen. Durchgangsbohrungen 29 bis 32 der Tragplatte 16 fluchten mit entsprechenden, insbesondere außen angefasten, Durchgangsbohrungen 33 bis 36 der Lagerteile 13 und 14.Each bearing part is preferably made of die-cast zinc, while the support plate 16 is made of steel in order to achieve good stability. Otherwise, the support plate 16 according to FIG. 2, for example, has an essentially strip-like shape with two parallel projections 23 and 24, which are arranged at the distance from the bearing eyes 11, 12 and project laterally on the longitudinal edge in the plane of the support plate, and a part located therebetween the projections with the recess 25. A shoulder-like projection 26 is provided on the opposite longitudinal edge, in the extension of which the edge of the bearing part 13 or 14 runs according to FIG. 3. On its long side the two projections 23 and 24 are provided with a chamfer 27 and 28, respectively. Through bores 29 to 32 of the support plate 16 are aligned with corresponding through bores 33 to 36 of the bearing parts 13 and 14, in particular chamfered on the outside.

As already mentioned, the space requirement of this fitting is extremely small in a very advantageous manner, because the width 10 of the upper scissor-type bearing 6 or the corresponding width of the angle leg of the supporting body of the lower support bearing 4 is particularly small. The distance between the left vertical edge of the support plate 16 in FIG. 1 and the right vertical outer edge 60 of the wing 2 is approximately 1-2 mm. To the right of the upper scissor bearing 6 or of the lower corner bearing 5 there is still an edge strip 61 which is sufficiently wide to allow the two frames, in particular for the frame 1, to be installed properly, in particular to be plastered in, even with narrow profile bars.

Claims (3)

  1. Fitting for an at least tiltable casement of a window, door or the like with one upper shear bearing (6) which comprises two bearing lugs (11, 12) for connection to a swinging arm or the like, which are disposed at a vertical distance from one another, wherein the shear bearing (6)comprises a supporting plate (16) for a bearing element (13, 14), which is connected thereto in a positively-fitting manner, and which has the two bearing lugs (11, 12) advantageously formed thereon, characterised in that the bearing element is formed in two parts and consists of two bearing parts (13, 14) wherein each bearing part (13, 14) has an angular shape, and wherein one first, advantageously longer angular leg (17) serves as securing leg, whereas the second angular leg (18) is formed as bearing lug, and in that the first angular leg (17) comprises a flange (21) which projects in the opposite direction to the second angular leg (18) and surrounds the associated end section of the supporting plate (16) in such a manner that the supporting plate is connected to each bearing part (13, 14) in a positively-fitting manner and that the supporting plate (16) is connected to each bearing part (13, 14) by at least one rivet (22).
  2. Fitting according to claim 1, characterised in that the bearing part (13, 14) comprises a rivet projection (22) and is advantageously produced of diecasting material.
  3. Fitting according to claims 1 or 2, characterised by two thorn-like projections (23, 24) on the supporting plate which lie in the plane of the supporting plate (16) and the lateral separation of which corresponds approximately to the separation of the bearing lugs (11, 12) and their thickness corresponds approximately to the thickness of the supporting plate (16), wherein the longitudinal outer sides of the projections (23, 24) are chamfered (27, 28), rounded or similarly inclined.
