Description

The invention relates to a wall covering for building exterior and interior walls, with a supporting structure for receiving a cover.

There is a wide variety of covers for covering external and internal walls, from a layer of plaster to panels made of wood, glass, metal, stone and the like, with the previous structure being plaster supports, slatted frames, metal rails or the like. Find use. These structures are attached to the wall to be clad so that all cladding-related forces and loads to be absorbed by the structure must be transferred to the wall to be clad, which requires a correspondingly designed, complex anchoring of the wall cladding. Apart from that, the assembly of the structure is cumbersome and time-consuming and filling the wall cladding with insulation material increases the effort for anchoring and complicates the cladding work. In addition, the wall cladding, with its mostly very high vapor diffusion resistance, causes condensation to form behind the cover and thus Frost exposure to the risk of blasting, crevices and other cover damage. The very different expansion coefficients of the materials of the structure on the one hand and the cover on the other hand, such as wood, metal, ceramics, masonry, plaster, etc., furthermore often lead to flaking, stress cracks, bulges, etc. with themselves and require correspondingly wide, open joints in the cover.

The invention is therefore based on the object to remedy these shortcomings and to provide a wall covering of the type described above, which can be produced and assembled efficiently, which is durable and weatherproof and which is distinguished by its strength and resistance.

The invention solves this problem in that the supporting structure and cover form a front shell constructed from components, the components carrying the cover on the front side having recesses and / or projections, approaches or the like on the rear side. exhibit. These components create a load-bearing wall shell, so that the main load on the wall cladding can be derived directly into the floor or into a suitable foundation, and any support on the wall to be clad must only absorb small secondary forces. The components can be easily assembled to the desired wall shell and the required anchoring to the wall to be clad is done without great effort in the course of the construction. The components can by mortar, glue, plug or the like. are composed and of course all known designs and auxiliary measures for building blocks to improve the construction work also these components applicable. The cover and the load-bearing part of the elements form a prefabricated structural unit, with every freedom for the choice of the cover and its attachment to the structural elements. Regardless of whether the facing is built directly in front of the wall to be clad or with an interposed layer of insulation of any thickness, there is a self-supporting cladding and the facing can also be used to accommodate installations and other facilities in the building. The components can be made of any suitable, correspondingly stable material, such as concrete, concrete mixtures, clay bricks, sandstone, but also glass, plastic or metal and the like. be produced, the cover and the support part can be coordinated with one another with regard to the expansion properties. The recesses and / or protrusions of the components ensure that the condensate that is deposited flows away and inevitably also provide space for rear ventilation of the facing shell. In addition, the projections or the like. Design as a spacer that not only improve the rear ventilation, but also simplify the support of the components and the assembly of the facing shell. This wall cladding, which is largely independent of the wall to be clad, is therefore also ideally suited for the renovation of old buildings, for masonry in damp walls, for the production of particularly soundproof walls or for the installation of various special systems such as solar heating and the like.

If, according to the invention, the components are prefabricated into wall panels, for example reaching storey height, the construction of the facing shell can be further rationalized. The blackboards then point in total preferably grid or grid structure, so that in addition to the corresponding load-bearing capacity, a lightweight construction is possible, the cover or the like for better absorption of the stresses and strains from several plate parts or the like. put together.

According to a favorable embodiment of the invention, the components have perpendicular ribs on the rear side, so that when building the facing shell there are inevitably channel-like gaps between the wall to be clad and the facing shell for rear ventilation. If the ribs have an unequal spacing from one another, there is definitely a rib offset when building the components, which guarantees continuous air channels for the height of the facing shell.

It is also advantageous if the components have recesses to be widened in cross-section to the rear, since such components are easier to produce due to the easier demolding of the cavities in casting and pressing processes and, moreover, there are internal surfaces which slope away to the rear for proper drainage of the condensate .

The cover can be chosen as desired, but it is expedient if the cover plates preferably serve as a cover detachably attached to the components. The components can therefore be provided with various cladding panels, these panels or the like by gluing, dowelling, hooking, plugging, tilting. Fastening options can be used. A detachable attachment is because of this given interchangeability of the plates advantageous.

According to the invention, the cover can also be molded directly onto the components, so that a component which is integral with the cover is produced in the factory. This makes it possible to cover the cover or the like during manufacture as a wash concrete. to manufacture or to provide the visible surface with sanding, etc. It is also possible to simply build the component including the cover as a cladding element from the cover plate and rear-attached claws, ribs and the like. to design, which leads to a particularly rational wall covering.
If, according to the invention, the components have a front which is inclined to the vertical, there is a cover with a scale-like or step-like character. It is also expedient if the components have spacers on the edge and / or the cover forms an overlap strip projecting beyond the component edge, which facilitates proper bricking up of the facing shell. The spacers determine a constant thickness of the bearing and butt joints and a protruding overlap strip of the cover enables the individual cover elements to come together tightly despite a certain joint thickness.

In order to be able to clad a building wall 1 rationally and permanently, a load-bearing facing shell 2 is constructed from frame-shaped components 2a which have recesses 3 on the rear side. These components 2a form with their front side the desired cover, which can be produced as a one-piece front wall with the component or, as illustrated, as a separate cover plate 4 which is glued to the components or fastened in another suitable manner. To stiffen the components there are vertical partitions 5 which are raised towards the rear to projecting ribs 5a. When the components 2a are built up, these protruding ribs 5a inevitably create free spaces 6 for rear ventilation of the facing shell 2, and at the same time these ribs 5a serve to support an insulating material layer 7 inserted between the building wall 1 and facing shell 2. The intermediate walls 5 or the ribs 5a are of different widths apart from each other, there is an inevitable misalignment of the ribs during assembly, which ensures continuous flow paths. The recesses 3 of the components 2a expand towards the rear in cross section, so that there are inclined drainage surfaces 8 on the bottom, which facilitate dripping of the condensate which is deposited on the inside of the cladding panels 4 into the air-flowed free spaces 6.

As indicated in FIG. 4, prefabricated large-scale wall panels 2b can also be provided as components, which have a lattice structure for reasons of strength, but also have corresponding recesses 9 and plumb lines raised to the rear have right partitions 10. These wall panels 2b are also provided on the front with a cover 11, so that a finished wall covering is produced simultaneously with the assembly of the facing shell 2. A wide variety of cladding panels are suitable as a cover 11, but it is also possible to apply a plaster layer as a cover, to form visible surfaces or the like directly on the components.

The wall covering according to the invention can be erected by simple, rational construction of a self-supporting facing shell and is characterized by its strength. Resilience and durability. The facing shell not only forms the supporting structure and cover together, but can also be used in addition to other expenses, for example for laying installations, to reinforce the insulation effect and the like. be used.
