- Dispensing heads of this type have long been used for dispensing liquid product in aerosol form. They were then also used for the distribution of semi-liquid, viscous or pasty product, such as food or cosmetic creams. However, it is not possible to prevent a certain quantity of product remaining in the conduit of the dispensing head after closing the valve. This product remaining in the dispensing duct tends to flow out of the dispensing orifice on the head and the enclosure or to drip causing dirt and stains.
