Man möchte es z.B. in gediegener farblicher Abstimmung zu einem bestimmten Kleidungsstück nur okkasionell tragen, bzw. zu verschiedenen Kleidungs¬ stücken das jeweils farblich passende Schmuckband. Das setzt einen schnellen, handlichen Schmuckbandwech¬ sel voraus, was bei der ersten Lösung aufgrund der vernähten Schlaufen ausgeschlossen ist. Die zweite Lösung erlaubt zwar ein gegenseitiges Auswechseln von Schmuckbändern, dagegen ist es für einen Laien kaum möglich, das Schmuckband gegen ein normales Arm¬ band irgendwelchen Fabrikats auszutauschen, denn diese lassen sich nur durch einen Fachmann, bzw. mit Spezial- werkzeugen montieren. Weiterhin ist ein foulardartiges, zweiteiliges Band für Armbanduhren bekannt geworden.
