Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Ermittlung der Höhe und der Länge von Textilfaserballengruppen, die zu einer Ballenschau zusammengestellt sind. Es sind Ballen­fräsen bekannt, die Faserballen, die zu einer Ballenschau zusammengestellt sind, mittels gezahnter Öffnungsscheiben abfräsen. Die Öffnungseinrichtung wird mittels eines Fahrgestells an den in einer Linie aufgestellten Ballen bewegt. Die Positionierung der Ballenfräse entlang des Fahrweges und der Höhe geschieht wie auch in anderen In­dustriezweigen üblich mittels Wegmeßeinrichtungen und speicherprogrammierbaren Steuerungen. Die Schwierigkeit besteht in der Erfassung der Höhe und Längenposition der zu Blöcken zusammgestellten Ballenvorlage. Die Ballen weisen keine gleichmäßige Oberfläche auf und haben unter­schiedliche Farbnuancen. Es ist bekannt, daß bei einer Lesefahrt die Fräse manuell entlang der Ballenblöcke bewegt wird oder die Werte per Hand einzugeben. Es ist auch gebräuchlich, die Höhe der Ballenblöcke während einer Lesefahrt mittels eines beweglich gelagerten Tast­rostes abzutasten und Anfang und Ende mit feststellbaren Reitern entlang der Fahrbahn festzulegen. Um den mechanischen Aufwand zu vermindern und den Automatisie­rungsgrad zu erhöhen, sind weitere Vorschläge zur automatischen Erfassung bekannt geworden.The invention relates to a method for determining the height and length of textile fiber bale groups, which are put together for a bale show. Für das Abfrä­sen ist aber der dichtere Materialkern von Bedeutung. Durch die Lichtabtastung werden so dem Computer falsche, größere Höhen eingegeben. Erfindungsgemäß erfolgt die Erfassung der Ballenblock­begrenzung indirekt durch die Erfassung des abgefrästen Faserflockenstromes. Der Flockenstrom kann auch indirekt durch Messung der Luftströmung im Fräskopf oder der Verbindungsstrecke erfolgen. Der Beginn des Flockenstromes wird durch ein oben geschildertes Verfahren festgestellt und der speicherprogrammierbaren Steuerung mitgeteilt. Gleichzeitg mit der Flockenstrom­feststellung wird der Wert des Inkrementalgebers für die Höhe in der speicherprogrammierbaren Steuerung registriert.
