- the elastic spacer 93, 100 or 104 exerts an elastic bearing force against the cylindrical internal wall of the housing 1 so that, by reaction, the drive head (91, 98 ) of the member 9 is applied with a force F, shown in Figure 5 but also existing in the case of Figures 3 and 4, against an external abutment surface linked to the housing 1.
- This increase in the resistance to rotation of the member 9 makes it possible to eliminate, or considerably reduce, untimely misadjustments due to involuntary causes, such as vibrations or other causes, during engine operation.
