Description

The invention relates to a deposit device for self-cashiers according to the preamble of claim 1.

The invention has for its object to improve the insertion device described in the main patent so that objects other than coins that can be inserted into the insertion slot are safely excreted and cannot reach the coin validator. This object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of claim 1. Advantageous further developments can be found in the subclaims.

Darin zeigen:

  • Fig. 1 eine erfindungsgemäße Einwurfvorrichtung für Münzen mit einer schwenkbaren Klappe mit Einwurfschlitz und Laufschiene für eingeworfene Münzen, in Seitenansicht, geschnitten, bei ausgeschwenkter Klappe;
  • Fig. 2 die Einwurfvorrichtung nach Fig. 1 bei eingeschwenkter Klappe;
The invention is described in more detail using exemplary embodiments which are illustrated in the associated drawings. In it show:
  • Figure 1 shows an insertion device for coins according to the invention with a pivotable flap with insertion slot and guide rail for inserted coins, in side view, cut, with the flap pivoted out.
  • FIG. 2 shows the insertion device according to FIG. 1 with the flap pivoted in;
  • Fig. 3 shows an insertion device similar to that shown in Fig. 1, but with a slotted plate, in side view, cut, with the insertion slot open and
  • Fig. 4 shows the insertion device according to Fig. 3, with the insertion slot closed.

The insertion device for coins for a self-cashier shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 essentially corresponds to the embodiment described in the main patent. The same reference numerals are used for the same parts. The pivotable flap 2 is rotatably mounted about a horizontal axis 4 in a chamber 3. The front plate 1 of this chamber is used for fastening in a wall W of the cashier. A cutout in the front panel 1 is filled by the flap 2, which is approximately flush with the front panel 1 in the pivoted-in state. Since the axis 4 is relatively deep, the flap 2 is in the swung-out state with its upper part so far from the front panel that the insertion slot 5 is accessible, which passes through the flap 2 from top to bottom. The outward movement is limited by a projection 10a on the upper edge of the flap 2.

Die Schwenkbewegung einwärts wird durch einen Anschlag 9a an der Unterkante der Klappe 2 begrenzt.1, the insertion slot 5 is open at the top, so that a coin M can be inserted. However, the lower end of the slot 5 is in front of the rear chamber wall, so it is closed. As soon as a coin is in the insertion slot 5, the flap is pivoted into the position according to FIG. 1, which is preferably done electromechanically. The insertion slot 5 is thus inaccessible from the outside, but its lower end then stands above an outlet slot 6 in the lower chamber wall, through which the coin M leaves the flap again and is fed to a testing device. The inward pivoting movement is limited by a stop 9a on the lower edge of the flap 2.

In order to prevent other objects, such as wire clips, matches or the like from entering the coin validator, a slide rail 12 is attached to the flap 2, onto which the coin M falls when it leaves the outlet slot 6 (FIG. 2). The running rail 12 is inclined transversely to the falling direction, so that the coin M rolls away immediately. Non-round objects, however, remain on the running rail until the flap is swung out again (Fig. 1). Then they slide off the pivoted-up running rail 12 and fall into a collecting container (not shown). The connection between the running rail 12 and the flap 2 is formed by a web 13 which passes through the rear wall of the chamber 3 through a slot 15, since it follows the pivoting movement of the flap. Furthermore, in addition to the outlet slot 6, a guide wall 14 is attached to the lower chamber wall, which gives lateral guidance to a coin M rolling on the running rail 12.

The horizontal axis 4, around which the flap 2b rotates, lies at the center of the circle. In this embodiment, the flap 2b consists of the two walls delimiting its insertion slot 5, one of which contains the axis. On the upper periphery of the flap 2b projecting segments 9b and 10b are attached, which serve once as stops to limit the pivoting movement and one of which also forms the closure for a slot 17 in the front plate 1b of the chamber 3 when the flap 2b is swung in.

The front plate 1b in turn serves for fastening in the wall W of the self-cashier, but is, in contrast to the arrangement described above, closed and only provided with a slot 17 for inserting a coin M. It only protrudes with this relatively small part through the wall W of the self-cashier. The flap 2b is therefore encapsulated in the chamber 3b. The chamber wall is drawn in sector-shaped on the back. In the upper area, segment 9b abuts flap 2 on the sector wall and thus defines the pivoted-in position of the flap (FIG. 4). In the lower area, the sector wall in turn has the slot 15 for the passage of the web 13, with which the running rail 12 is connected to the flap 2b, as in the arrangement described above. The operation of this insertion device is also the same as that described first, with the difference that a coin M is pushed through the slot 17 in the front plate 1b into the insertion slot 5 of the flap 2b (FIG. 3). Then the flap 2b pivoted and the coin M falls through the outlet slot 6 from the chamber 3b onto the inclined running rail 12, on which it immediately leans against the guide wall 14 and rolls to the coin validator. Out-of-round objects remain on the running rail 12 until it swivels (FIG. 1), then they fall off. The pivoting back of the flap 2b is limited by the segment 10b mentioned, which abuts an extension 16 of the chamber wall.
