- Such a thread network can be knotted, as is usually the case with tennis nets, but it can also be stamped or molded in one piece from plastic for other uses.
- Fig. 1 some network threads 5 are shown in dashed lines, whereby information is generated on the area network. In contrast to the other threads, the threads shown in dashed lines are coated with a dye.
- these threads 5 are shown on an enlarged scale and in section, the core thread 3 being the same as in the network in FIG. 1 and only one half of the thread facing the view shown by arrow I being coated with a dye 6 .
- the arrow I indicates this direction of view, through which the top view in FIG. 1 is created, while the arrow III indicates the rear view. If the viewer looks at the thread network according to arrow III, then he cannot perceive the color layer 6 and accordingly also not the information 5, as is shown in FIG. 1. For him, the network shows no information. Of course, a corresponding coating of the same information can be provided on this network surface, which faces direction III, but which is then only visible from this side III.
- the flat structure 1 is divided into two halves by the two visible sides I and III, through which an imaginary middle surface 7, shown in dash-dot lines, runs.
Abstract
Description
The invention is based on a network according to the preamble of the main claim as described, for example, in the document "Tennis, No. 9, May 1, 1978, page 23". Such thread networks can also either separate but separate areas as playing fields, which is why there is often talk of net games such as tennis, or can serve as territorial boundaries that are intended to prevent the crossing from one territory to another, such as separating the spectators from the footballers , of course, not to obstruct the view protective fences. Such networks can also serve as protection for the viewer, for example against flying parts such as balls, sports equipment and the like. In any case, these area networks have dimensions that are appropriate, the network mostly from each of its two area sides can be viewed without the further view being hindered by the network. In addition, the user of such networks endeavors, on the one hand, to have the network sufficiently recognizable as such, for example as a separating surface, and on the other hand to avoid the network from obstructing the view through the network.
The network according to the invention with the characterizing features of the main claim has the advantage that it can be used as an information carrier, for example in advertising, since the surface section coated by a dye is always recognizable on one surface side of the network. On the back of the network, on the other hand, it can only be recognized in its original color, namely the color of the base material, such as a textile yarn.
The reason why such networks have so far only been used partially for information purposes is based, among other things, on the principle that, in the case of a normally colored network, the two surface sides have mirror-symmetrical representations of the colored surface section, so that, for example, when a font is used as an advertising medium, this only from one side of the surface is legible, while the reverse is mirror-inverted.
The invention advantageously makes it possible to replace wind-sensitive neon signs on tall buildings, banners on streets intended for racing, for example, or also advertising webs crossing roads by wind-slippery networks.
According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the color layer is obtained by spraying. When the dye is applied, a stencil can be placed on the net in a simple manner, and the dye can thus be applied to one side of the net surface and thus the threads.
According to a further embodiment of the invention, the layer can consist of solvent-washable material, so that the information character can be changed without removing the network or destroying the network.
According to an additional embodiment of the invention, the dye can consist of phosphorescent material. This ensures that the information continues to shine by itself even after switching off a lighting or in the evening and night.
The thread has a minimum diameter of 1 mm, so that the coated surface can be easily recognized accordingly. The mesh size is at least 30 mm, so that good transparency is retained despite the coating.
Further advantages and advantageous embodiments of the invention can be found in the following description, the drawing and the claims.
- 1 shows a surface network with a view according to arrow I in FIG. 2 on the one side of the surface which has a coating in sections and
- Figure 2 shows a section along line II.II in Fig. 1 by two threads of this network on an enlarged scale.
In Fig. 1, a simple net, as used for example on the tennis court, is shown, in which a
In Fig. 1 some
