Claims (1)

  1. Holder-up device for a punching press comprising top section (A) and bottom section (B) for punchable metals, the punching press exhibiting a hydraulic cylinder (11) arranged in the bottom section (B) and exerting a predetermined compressive force, the piston (12,13) of which is connected to a pressure part (4) which penetrates the bottom section (B) and the cylinder chamber of which, delimited by the underside of the piston (12), communicates through a controllable solenoid valve (16), closed when the piston is retracted, and a non-return valve (18), opening when the piston (12, 13) is retracted, with a pressurized fluid tank (21), characterized in that hydraulic cylinder (11) exhibits a fluid inlet (5) provided with the solenoid valve (16) and a fluid outlet (17) provided with the non-return valve (18), which are connectable by a common pressurized fluid pipe (19) to the pressurized fluid tank (21 ) and to a pump (20) for the preadjustment of the hold-up force, that the annular element (9) is penetrated by the hydraulic piston (12,13), and thatthe pressure part forms a holder-up (4) for the punching operation and the hydraulic cylinder (11) is fastened to a separate annular element (9) insertable as an adaptor into the bottom section (B) of the punching press, which forms a stop (9') for the upper limit position of the hydraulic piston (12,13) and forms a conversion insert for precision punching conjointly with the hydraulic cylinder (11 ) with valves (16, 18), the piston (12,13), the pressurized fluid pipe (19), the pressurized fluid tank (21) and the pump (20) associated with the latter for the preadjustment of the hold-up force, preferably a hand pump.
