Abstract

A method of packaging a product comprises the steps of forming an envelope 50 and inserting the product into the envelope, the envelope being such that the product can be made use of without having subsequently to handle the product. For example, where the product is a toilet cleaner and/or freshener, the product and the envelope may be water soluble so that the product can be placed in the cistern of a toilet without any need to remove the envelope first.
