Description

The invention relates to a container for receiving a liquid-containing package, with a lid which can be placed on a lower part and which carries a hollow dome connected to a pouring opening for opening the package and a further mandrel having a vent opening, the spikes on the lid are preferably detachably fixed and the mandrel connected to the pouring opening protrudes further into the interior of the container than the venting mandrel when the lid is in place, and the lower part has guides for centering the pack. Such packs can be used, for example, for milk, cream, liquid food and beverages such as fruit juices, but also for technical oils, detergents or the like. be used. The known packs are mostly made of cardboard or plastics and usually have a rectangular plan.

A number of such containers have already become known, the lower part of wire frames or other claws encompassing the pack being formed, in particular for the use of larger packs of cardboard. The known devices had the disadvantage in common that they were difficult to clean and that an exact guidance of the lid or the pack itself was not guaranteed to the required extent. So it could happen again and again that when trying to pierce the pack, the lid slipped out of its position, which would allow the lower part to be closed properly, and it was also frequently observed that the pack itself evades the pressure of the piercing mandrel, whereby again an exact positioning of the lid was also not possible. Especially in the case of larger packs, the puncturing of the pack from above, when the pack is not guided exactly, often leads to a not inconsiderable part of the liquid emerging from the pack in an uncontrolled manner and thus causing contamination of the container or the base.

The invention now aims to create a simple, elegant container of the type mentioned, which, in addition to the possibility of a particularly aesthetic design, is distinguished by easier cleaning and particularly reliable operation. To achieve this object, the invention essentially consists in the fact that the lower part has guides for the attachable cover that run in the vertical direction, that the cover carries at least one, preferably two recesses or extensions (extensions) opposite one another on the side walls of the lower part, which can be locked with corresponding extensions or recesses of the lower part and can be disengaged by an opening in the lower part or a flexible partial area thereof, that the lockable extensions or recesses of the cover are carried by leaf springs connected to the cover, in particular in one piece with it are whose lateral boundaries are guided in the guides running in the height direction of the lower part, that the locking takes place in the lower half, preferably in the lower third, of the height of the lower part and that the ventilation opening of the ventilation pipe below the cover inside n of the container opens. Due to the vertical guides of the lower part for the cover which can be put on, which preferably extend over at least half the height of the lower part, a precise adjusting stroke of the cover is ensured, which, while simultaneously positioning and guiding the pack contained in the container, precisely piercing the pack and enables the container to be closed exactly. In the closed position, the recesses or projections lock the cover on the lower part so that inadvertent opening and leakage of liquid is avoided. The formation of the latchable extensions or recesses of the cover on a leaf spring has the consequence that the locking can take place in the lower third of the lower part, which ensures long guidance and security against inaccurate placement of the cover. The design of the lid in one piece with leaf springs has the advantage that these leaf springs laterally encompass the pack contained in the lower part and therefore offer an additional lateral hold of the pack and additional protection against deformation of the pack at the time of piercing. Finally, the preferred measure to have the vent opening of the vent mandrel open below the lid inside the container means that a shapely, self-contained exterior can be achieved.

According to a preferred embodiment, the clear height of the lower part corresponds essentially to the height of the package, the lid having an edge projecting towards the lower part, which abuts the upper position of the lower part, in particular with the end face of the wall of the lower part, in the closed position reached. Such a design of the lid makes it possible to ensure sufficient space for venting the package without the need to break through the lid. Furthermore, such a lid allows a collection chamber to be provided for the liquid to be poured out, so that the shape of the beak or the pouring opening can be adapted to the aesthetic needs without difficulty. To improve the guidance of the lid and the pack, the design is advantageously made such that the leaf springs of the lid connect to the narrow sides of the lid and that the narrow-side guides are designed as lateral webs on both long sides of the leaf spring, the height of which towards Inside the container corresponds at least to the thickness of the leaf springs and the free end faces are designed as a guide for the pack. With a correspondingly broad design of the leaf springs, the guides of protruding edges of the Un can preferably terteiles be formed, the package is then supported only in the edges of the container and in the case of the inserted lid is additionally encompassed laterally by the leaf springs. A particularly elegant design can be achieved in that a distribution space connected to the mandrel for opening the package is arranged within the clear height of the lid, which preferably merges flush with the outer surface of the lid into a pouring opening. With such a design, in which the pouring opening or the beak merges flush into the surface of the lid, the pouring opening can be closed in a simple manner by a displaceably mounted closing member and in this way secured against the ingress of foreign bodies from the outside. The closing member can of course also be designed as a pivotable flap, but if the beak or the pouring opening is arranged flush with the surface of the lid, the design as a slide is preferred. When the closing member is designed as a pivotable flap, the closing member is preferably pivotably arranged at the pouring opening and is preferably articulated in a resilient manner, in particular on a spring leaf immersed in the pouring channel or the distributor space. In order not to impair the free outflow cross-section and to ensure drip-free pouring taking into account the viscosity of the liquid, the spring leaf can have an opening adapted to the respective viscosity.

Overall, this results in a completely closed container, the shape of which can deviate from the outer contour of the pack. It is easily possible to provide the container with curves and in this way to give it a pleasing appearance. To make it easier to see whether the container is filled with a package or is empty, the lower part preferably has an additional opening in at least one side surface, through which an insight into the interior of the container can be taken.

Since most packs for liquids made from coated cardboard have a thickened connection area in their vertical position of symmetry in the position of use, which is difficult to pierce, the mandrels are expediently arranged outside the plane of symmetry of the pack or the container.

In order to ensure a predetermined orientation of the cover, particularly in the case of an asymmetrical design of the lower part, the design is preferably such that the cover carries at least two different leaf springs, which engage in corresponding different guides in a form-fitting manner.

The invention is explained in more detail below with reference to exemplary embodiments shown in the drawing. 1 shows a vertical section through a container according to the invention in the direction of the arrows II in FIG. 2, FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the container, FIG. 3 shows a section along the line 111-111 in FIG. 2, FIG. 4 a side view through a modified embodiment, Fig. 5 is a plan view in the direction of arrow V of Fig. 4 partially in section, Fig. 6 is a side view in the direction of arrow VI of Fig. 4, Fig. 7 is a design of a spring-loaded locking member for 8 and FIG. 8 is a perspective view of the embodiment according to FIG. 7.

In Fig. 1, a container 1 is shown, which has a lid 2 and a lower part 3. In the closed position shown, the cover 2 lies flush against the walls of the lower part 3. The dividing line between the cover 2 and the lower part 3 is designated 4.

The cover 2 carries leaf springs 5 projecting downwards, on the free ends of which projections 6 are arranged, which can be locked in corresponding openings 7 in the lower part 3 when in the closed position.

The lid 2 also carries releasably fixed mandrels, the piercing mandrel being designated 8 and projecting further into the interior of the container than the venting mandrel 9. The contour of the package, as can be accommodated in such a container 1, is indicated by 10, the Height of the lower part 3 corresponds essentially to the height of the pack 11. The liquid contained in the pack 11 passes through openings 12 of the piercing mandrel 8 into a channel 13 in the interior of the mandrel and via the connection point to the lid into a distribution chamber 14, to which the pouring opening 15 is formed. The pouring opening can be closed by a slide 16, thereby preventing foreign parts from entering the chamber 14. The venting mandrel 9 has a passage opening 17 in the interior of the package 11, which opens into the hollow lid 2 above the package 11 via a further passage opening 18. Ventilation to the outside is not necessary, since the seated cover 2 is not airtight with respect to the lower part 3 and therefore adequate ventilation is ensured.

As can be seen from FIG. 2, the lower part 3 has inwardly projecting boundary surfaces 19, on which the leaf springs 5 are guided when the cover is pushed in or closed. The pack contour is again indicated at 10, the edges of the pack engaging and being guided in corresponding projecting edges 20 of the lower part 3. When the cover 2 is pushed into the lower part 3, the projections 6 only reach the outer position shown in FIG. 1 after they have latched into the openings 7. However, the package 11 is pierced beforehand and at this point the projections 6 are held inward by the inner wall 21 of the lower part 3, so that the package 11 is additionally supported against deformation.

From Fig. 3 it can be seen that the width a of the resilient tongues 5 substantially corresponds to the clear width b between the inwardly jumping boundary surfaces 19 of the lower part, as shown in Fig. 2. 1 and 3, the cover has downward-facing edges 22 which are flush with the upper edge of the side

These downward edges define the cavity in which the distribution space 14 can be arranged and which offers the possibility of venting the package 11 into the interior of the container.

In turn, projections 6 are provided for the latching of downwardly directed springs of the cover 2, the cover in turn carrying the pouring opening 15. The width of the springs is smaller and the inwardly projecting guides, which are formed by surfaces 19 as shown in FIG. 5, at the same time form guide surfaces 23 pointing into the interior of the container, which provide better support for the pack 11 against lateral deformation Offer.

In this embodiment, the lid 2 rests on the two narrow sides 24 of the container, so that variations in the aesthetic design can be realized. For example, the cover can be pressed against a resilient element 25 in order in this way to better lock the closed position and to secure it against unintentional opening.

In this embodiment too, the pouring opening 15 can in turn be closed by a slide. The two mandrels are again arranged in a manner analogous to the embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 3, which for the sake of clarity have not been shown. The ceiling is in turn hollow in its interior and in this way allows ventilation into the interior of the container without the need for an additional opening. In the embodiment according to FIGS. 4 to 6, an additional opening 26 is also arranged in one of the side walls, through which opening can be seen into the interior of the container. In this way it can be determined whether the container contains a package or not.

The closing member is connected to a leaf spring 28 which can be inserted into corresponding grooves in the pouring opening or the distribution chamber. In order not to impair the free flow cross-section and to ensure a certain outflow rate, the spring leaf has an opening 29.
