Abstract

Diese Nickbewegung wird durch eine Kurvensteuerung einer Kurvennocke erzeugt, die mittels eines elektrischen Drehmotors angetrieben ist. Die bekannte Lösung ist jedoch auf mehrfarbige Farbbänder beschränkt. Für einfarbige Farbbänder muß daher ein umgestaltetes Farbbandgehäuse geschaffen werden, so daß zwei unterschiedliche Farbbandgehäuse erforderlich werden. Bei der Herstellung der Farbbandkassetten ist dieser Umstand zeitraubend, aufwendig und damit kostspielig. Das System mit zwei unterschiedlichen Farbbandgehäusen erhöht z.B. die Lagerhaltung und damit die Lagerkosten.A known solution (EP 0 158 963), which relates to a multicolored ink ribbon, has such a device. Die gestellte Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß das Farbbandgehäuse für Einfarben-Farbbänder und für Mehrfarbenfarbbänder einheitlich mit zwei Paaren von Lagerzapfen versehen ist und daß für in Betriebslage anliegende Nockenkurven gegenüberliegend an den Breitseiten des Farbbandgehäuses jeweils ein ebener Auflagervorsprung vorgesehen ist. Dieses System erfordert in der Fertigung der Farbbandgehäuse nur ein einziges Spritzwerkzeug. Die in dem Spritzwerkzeug hergestellten Farbbandgehäuse werden entweder mit einem Einfarben-Farbband oder mit einem Mehrfarben-Farbband gefüllt. Bei Einbau der Farbbandkassette kann der Drucker selbst für ein Einfarben- oder ein Mehrfarben-System ausgerüstet sein. In beiden Fällen ist das Farbbandgehäuse gleich bzw. für den jeweiligen Anwendungsfall bereits vorbereitet. Die entsprechenden Bauteile am Drucker sind ebenfalls leicht in der Fertigung und in der Montage umzustellen.
