Durch Anpressen des Setzgerätes 1 mit dem Mündungsteil 5 gegen einen Untergrund 28, wie dies der Fig. 3 entnehmbar ist, verschiebt sich das Gehäuse 2 gegenüber dem Mündungsteil 5 in Setzrichtung und taucht dabei mit seinem vorderen Ende durch eine Ausnehmung 29 in den Führungskanal 9 des Führungsprofils 8. Der Vorschub der Befestigungselemente 22 in die Mündungsbohrung 6 wird dabei durch den Anpressvorgang nicht behindert. In dieser angepressten Stellung ist die Zündbereitschaft erlangt, so dass der Setzvorgang ausgelöst werden kann. Der Kolben 7 läuft auf das in der Mündungsbohrung 6 befindliche Befestigungselement 22 auf und treibt den Nagel 23 unter Zerstörung der Führungsbüchse 24 in den Untergrund 28 ein. Nach anschliessendem Zurückführen des Kolbens 7 gelangt das nächste Befestigungselement 22 in die Mündungsbohrung 6.By pressing the setting tool 1 with the mouth part 5 against a base 28, as can be seen in FIG. 3, the housing 2 moves relative to the mouth part 5 in the setting direction and thereby dips with its front end through a recess 29 into the guide channel 9 of the Guide profile 8. Nach dem Setzen des letzten der in Fig. 1 nebeneinandergereihten Befestigungselemente 22 und Rückführen des Kolbens 7 ist der Schieber 15 soweit gegen die Mündungsbohrung 6 gerückt, dass die Zuführnase 21 in die Mündungsbohrung 6 ragt. In dieser Endstellung befindet sich die Anschlagschulter 19 in der Projektion der vorderen Stirnfläche 31 des Gehäuses 2 und die Führungsleiste 17 steht in Vorschubrichtung des Schiebers 15 an einem Wandungsteil 32 des Mündungsteiles 5 an. Bei einem Anpressen des Setzgerätes 1 läuft das Gehäuse 2 nach Zurücklegung eines zur Erzielung der Zündbereitschaftsstellung nicht ausreichenden Verschiebeweges mit seiner Stirnfläche 31 an der Anschlagschulter 19 auf, wie dies der Fig. 4 zu entnehmen ist. Erst nach neuerlichem Beschicken des Gerätes 1 mit Befestigungselementen 22 und damit verbundenem Zurückführen des Schiebers 15 gegen seine Ausgangsstellung (Fig. 1) ist die Zündbereitschaftsstellung wieder erlangbar.After setting the last of the fastening elements 22 lined up in FIG. 1 and returning the piston 7, the slide 15 has moved so far against the orifice bore 6 that the feed nose 21 protrudes into the orifice bore 6. Claims (4)

  1. Explosively actuated setting tool for driving fixing elements (22), such as nails, into surfaces (28), comprising in a housing (2) a mouthpiece (5) which is movable backwards from a forward position into a firing position, a guide profile (8) which laterally protrudes beyond the mouthpiece (5) and includes a slide (15) for moving the fixing elements (22) from the guide profile (8) forward into the mouthpiece bore (6), in which respect the slide (15) is movable from an initial position into an end position which has been cleared of fixing elements (22) characterised in that the slide (15) comprises a contact shoulder (19) which is formed by the end surface (18), facing towards the housing (2), of the slide (15), and which in its end position extends into the axial projection of the end surface (31) of the housing (2) to prevent movement into a firing position of the forward end of the housing (2) via a recess (29) in the guide channel (9) of the guide profile (8).
  2. Setting tool according to claim 1, characterised in that the contact shoulder (19) is formed by the area of the end surface (18) of the slide (15) which has been cleared towards the housing (2) by a box-shaped guide profile (8).
  3. Setting tool according to one of claims 1 to 2, characterised in that the contact shoulder (19) is overlapped in the forward direction of the slide (15) by a supply nose (21) for the fixing elements (22).
  4. Setting tool according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that a spring means (14) is provided for driving the slide (15) from the initial position into the end position.
