Description
The invention relates to a double-walled coke fire truck, according to the preamble of
Such fire-fighting vehicles have proven themselves in the combined extinguishing of the coke, in the case of extinguishing by immersion extinguishing with simultaneous or subsequent extinguishing of the coke by spraying water. They offer advantages in the treatment of large quantities of coke and the environmentally friendly removal of the resulting steam.
The object of the present invention is to further improve such single-point fire-fighting vehicles, in particular with regard to the lowering of the moisture content of the finished coke and with regard to the homogenization.
The object is achieved by the features specified in the characterizing part of
The invention will first be explained in more detail with reference to the drawings, which represent exemplary embodiments.

According to the invention, the
The single-point fire-fighting vehicles equipped according to the invention can advantageously be used with any type of coke chamber size. However, there are special advantages with coke oven batteries with a chamber capacity that amounts to 20 tons and more of coke per fire remote. The capacity of the container should be chosen so that it is 40 to 100% larger than the coke volume to be filled. The upper limit can be exceeded depending on the geometry of the container. In any case, the size must be such that the movements of the coke during the extinguishing process take place inside the container. Due to the laterally limited water supply, a leveling of the bulk material surface is achieved due to the sudden incidence of water during the dipping process and the steam formation associated therewith, so that an essentially flat bulk material surface is available for the irrigation. This is advantageous with regard to a uniform cooling and wetting of the coke. When using the coke extinguishing container according to the invention, for example, the following values could be achieved with a coke quantity per furnace chamber of 43 t and a container cross section of 6
