Abstract

A roofing panel suitable for use on a flat or shallow angled roof is of substantially lamellar form, is made of plastics materi­ al and has an edge portion which extends substantially in a plane parallel to the plane of the panel body. Means (5, 6) for accommodating expansion or contraction of the panel relative to a substrate on which it is placed are provided. The means ex­ tends across a major part of the panel in two mutually trans­ verse directions, is formed as an integral part of the panel and comprises at least one portion which projects out of the plane of the panel body.
