Description

The invention relates to the means used to practice winter sports, particularly equipment for monoski or paired skis.

The descent of a slope being the first condition of the use of a monoski, it is essential to climb to a high point before starting to descend.

The user of a monoski can only put it on when leaving a cable car skip or a ski lift seat which will have carried him to the top of the slope; being towed by a pole lift is prohibited for obvious safety reasons, both for one's own and for that of other skiers wearing independent skis.

The purpose of the equipment according to the invention is to allow the user of a monoski to be pulled by a pole lift, by guiding the monoski with one foot, the other foot being fitted with a ski. -pilot.

This equipment is characterized in that at least one ski-pilot, the dimensions of which fit within the perimeter of the face of the monoski opposite the sliding sole, this ski-pilot being provided with a safety attachment, is removably placed on said face of the monoski, held in place by quick release means and by the fact that the ski-pilot can be easily detached from its support in the event of parallel and concomitant use facilitating the guiding of the monoski and ski-pilot assembly, for example in the event of traction by a pole lift of a skier having put on one foot with the monoski and the other foot with the ski-pilot.

The means used to hold a pilot ski on the monoski consist of at least three elements, a hook-shaped stop on the side of the heel of the pilot ski, an elastic sling in the form of a sling on the side of the ski tip. pilot, the two attachment points of the loop being located on either side of the pilot ski at a distance from the stop sufficient for the elastic force exerted by the pocket of the sling on the spatula of the pilot ski to effectively maintain its heel against the stop, and at least one strap overlapping the ski-pilot which has the function of pressing the ski-pilot against the face of the monoski opposite to the sliding sole.

In another embodiment, the monoski comprises on its face opposite to the sliding sole, two imprints, parallel to its edges, having exactly the dimensions of two normal skis duly provided with safety bindings and by the fact that adequate means securely hold the two skis in the imprints of the monoski while allowing rapid separation of normal skis from the monoski.

Les principaux avantages d'un tel équipement de monoski résident dans le fait que la remontée des pentes peut s'effectuer autrement que par le moyen des seuls téléfériques à cabines ou autresThe main advantages of such monoski equipment reside in the fact that the ascent of the slopes can be carried out other than by means of the only cable cars in cabins or other

  • - la figure 1 est une vue de dessus d'un monoski pourvu d'ou ou de deux skis-pilotes ;
  • - la figure 2 est une vue de profil du monoski de la figure 1 ;
Other advantages will emerge from the description of embodiments given by way of nonlimiting examples and from the drawing in which
  • - Figure 1 is a top view of a monoski provided with or or two pilot skis;
  • - Figure 2 is a side view of the monoski of Figure 1;
  • - Figure 3 is a partial view of the means for fixing a pilot ski on the monoski.

The monoski 1 represented by FIGS. 1 and 2 comprises a ski-pilot 2 placed between the front bindings 5 and the tip 100 of the monoski. It also has a location for a second pilot ski 3 - dotted lines - placed between the rear bindings 4 and the heel 101 of the monoski 1.

  • - une butée 6 contre le talon 201, 301 du ski-pilote 2, 3 ;
  • - une ganse 7 en forme de fronde exerçant une force élastique F (figure 3) sur la spatule 200, 300 du ski-pilote afin de le pousser contre la butée 6 ;
The pilot skis 2, 3 are held against the face 102 of the monoski, opposite the sliding sole 103 by at least three means cooperating with each other
  • - A stop 6 against the heel 201, 301 of the ski-pilot 2, 3;
  • - a sling 7 in the form of a sling exerting an elastic force F (FIG. 3) on the tip 200, 300 of the ski-pilot in order to push it against the stop 6;
  • - At least one strap 8 which presses the ski-pilot 2, 3 against the face 102 of the monoski.

Generally, in order to prevent the pilot ski from displacing the center of gravity of the monoski assembly with pilot ski, the heel 201, 301 of the pilot ski 2, 3 is placed between the rear bindings 4 and before 5 of the monoski. Indeed, the rear part of the pilot ski 2, 3, that is to say the heel 201, 301 supporting the rear attachment 10 of the pilot ski 2, 3 is heavier than the front part.

La figure 3 représente en détail ces trois moyens de fixation du ski-pilote.FIG. 3 shows in detail these three means of fixing the pilot ski.

The stop 6 has a notch, not shown, into which the heel 201, 301 of the ski-pilot 2, 3 penetrates under the effect of the elastic force F.

The sling 7 comprises a pocket 700 into which the end of the spatula 200, 300 is introduced; the two elastic strands 701, 702 of the sling 7 are fixed, at the end of their free part, to the monoski at two points 703, 704 located on either side of the tip 200, 300 of the ski-pilot 2 , 3.

The strap 8 is fixed to the monoski by its two ends 800, 801, at least one 801 being provided with a folding clip 802 which ensures the tension thereof on the ski-pilot 2, 3.

Each ski pilot 2, 3 has a binding in two front 9 and rear 10 parts comprising the same safety devices as the front 5 and rear 4 bindings of the monoski. Each ski-pilot 2, 3 is placed on the monoski so that its bindings 9, 10 do not prevent the play of the safety devices of the bindings 4, 5 of the monoski in the event of a fall.

In another embodiment, comprising only one pilot ski, this is placed at flat, on its sliding sole between the bindings 4, 5 of the monoski. The means (6, 7, 8) used to hold this pilot ski are placed on either side of these bindings (4, 5).

In another embodiment also comprising only one pilot ski, this is placed on edge between the bindings (4, 5) of the monoski; it is held in place by at least two elastic straps (8) with quick opening device arranged on either side of the fasteners (4, 5).

In another embodiment, the monoski does not have bindings for its autonomous use but, in its thickness and open on the face opposite to the sliding sole, two imprints parallel to the edges of the monoski in which two normal skis are provided of their fixings with safety devices.

The footprints each receive a normal ski which they grip exactly without play neither lateral nor longitudinal since they have the same dimensions as these skis in width and in length, at least between the heel and the tip of the tip, their depth. being at least half the thickness of these skis.

The means used to maintain the normal skis in the imprints of the monoski consist of several transverse straps, distributed over the length of the normal skis, fixed on one side to an edge of the face of the monoski opposite the sliding sole, passing through above each normal ski encased in its imprint, to be stretched over these by a lever attachment fixed on the other edge of the monoski. Foldable bridges perpendicular to each strap are attached to the monoski between the tracks to confirm the tension of each strap on normal skis.

To climb an incline, the skier loosens the said straps without taking off his normal skis and can thus undertake climbing with his skis or use a ski lift with poles after having put on his back the lightweight monoski without bindings.

In another embodiment of the monoski with footprints, the means used to maintain normal skis in the footprints are constituted by a slide device.

These parallel slides, of a known type, are continuous or discontinuous, arranged along the edges of the imprints and their spacing as well as the height relative to the bottom of the imprint, correspond to the dimensions of the normal skis introduced between them.

The width and thickness of normal skis being most often variable between the heel and the tip, the preferred means are constituted by studs, distributed in pairs facing each other on the edges of each imprint.

A quick-opening trigger guard brings together each pair of studs to effectively hold normal skis in the footprints.

In order to facilitate the introduction of normal skis between the pads, these are constituted by rollers rotating around a shaft inclined towards the axis of the imprint, relative to the plane of the face of the monoski opposite the sole. slip.

This inclination reinforces the pressure of the studs on normal skis and makes it possible to limit the number of trigger guard.

The action of the trigger guard (s) joining the studs is further reinforced by providing each normal ski with at least one stud arranged on its face opposite to the sliding sole, so that it enters a corresponding opening of the trigger guard folded over the ski.
