Abstract

The invention is based on an installation apparatus with a covering frame (1) into which a hinged lid (9) dips with its supporting edge. Its rotating hinges (13,18) connect the hinged lid (9) to a central disc (8) which is inserted in the covering frame such that it rests on a flange-like inner ring (24) and is held thereon by the central insert (6) of the installation apparatus. The invention provides a specially designed hinged lid (9) in order to give a similar appearance to different central inserts (6) with parts, particularly inserted plugs (16), projecting well above the upper edge of the covering frame (1). This hinged lid has a cap depth of at least 1.3 cm, and its rotating hinges (13,18) are designed as sliding bearings whose sliding direction is selected such that, on opening the hinged lid (9), the latter is lifted off its supporting surface in the region of its bearing points. At an opening of 90 DEG , the side wall connected to the rotating hinges (13,18) comes to rest with its outer surface above the covering frame (1).
