Description

The innovation concerns a supply pack for bale-shaped luxury items, in particular for ice cream balls.

As is known, when it is served in ice cream coffees, pastry shops and similar places, ice cream is placed in the form of balls in a mug or bowl, sometimes also decorated with whipped cream and other additives and presented to customers in this form. The ice cream scoops are taken from a supply with the help of special tongs and then directly into the cup, the bowl or the like. placed. For this purpose, the spherical scoop part of the tongs can easily be widened using a special mechanism, so that it is possible to place the ball in the cup without any problems. However, the perfect functioning of the tongs requires that the ice cream mass is at a suitable temperature and thus consistency. If the mass is too soft, the ball is deformed when it is ejected from the pliers; if it is too hard, the ice cream mass cannot be introduced into the tongs to a sufficient extent.

The portioning of ice cream in the form of a bale or ball is particularly difficult when frozen ice cream is to be used._ This is often the case in the home, but also occurs in restaurants, especially when the ice cream is not prepared on the spot , but ice cream is obtained from a manufacturing company. To remedy this difficulty, ball-shaped or spherically shaped ice cream, which may or may not be mixed with other masses, such as chocolate. coated is to be put on the market. If you try this, the difficulty immediately arises to pack the corresponding ice bales. Permanent contact with the packaging material over the entire surface of the ball or bale is harmful, since the ice mass or the coating mass tends to adhere firmly to the packaging material when stored for a long time.

The object of the innovation is to propose a supply pack which does not have the disadvantages mentioned and which is suitable for accommodating bale-shaped or spherical indulgences, in particular ice cream balls. To solve this problem, it is proposed that the package consists of two matching parts, namely a lower part and an upper part and that both parts are each divided into several mutually assigned departments, the departments having at least one of the parts walls, the inner surface of which according to Art of a truncated pyramid or truncated cone are arranged and arranged. It is particularly expedient if at least the lower shell, when used as intended, is shaped in the manner specified. If an ice cream ball is placed in such a bowl, it touches it with hers Surface of the packaging only in a relatively small area. The other areas float freely and get no contact with the packaging material. Provided that the temperatures are sufficiently low, the ice cream balls can be stored and transported in this form for almost any length of time.

It is particularly advantageous if the two parts, which together form the packaging, are shells made of transparent or translucent plastic. Such a configuration allows the contents of the package to be checked at any time and in this way to determine whether no deformation has actually occurred.

Furthermore, it is advantageous if the truncated pyramid-shaped walls are rounded in the area of the rising edges. Such a rounding not only gives the packaging a more pleasing shape, but also serves to give the material a higher strength than if the edges were square. This is especially important for thin plastic packaging when it is cooled to low temperatures.

As already mentioned, it is preferred if the part lying at the bottom for intended use has compartments with individual surfaces arranged in the manner of a pyramid or truncated cone, and the upper part has compartments with surfaces shaped like hemispheres. It is particularly advantageous if the height of the upper part is matched to the intended content in such a way that the upper part does not touch the content.

The proposed packaging is primarily intended for holding spherical and bale-shaped portions of ice cream. However, it can also be used with such an advantage for other bale-shaped luxury items, such as for example Berlin pancakes, so-called moor heads and similar spherical structures.

  • Fig. 1 eine Draufsicht auf eine Ausführungsform eines Verpackungsunterteiles;
The subject of innovation is explained in more detail below with reference to the accompanying drawing. They represent:
  • Figure 1 is a plan view of an embodiment of a lower packaging part.
  • 2 shows a cross section through the packaging along the line II-II of FIG. 1st

Fig. 2 first shows that the package consists of two matching parts, namely a lower part 1 and an upper part 2. These two parts are preferably deep-drawn trays, which consist of transparent or translucent plastic, the material selected in this way will be that the shells are as light and thin as possible, but still have sufficient rigidity. Each of the two parts is divided into a plurality of departments 3, 3 'which are assigned to one another; In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, a total of 9 such departments are provided. According to the invention, the departments have at least one of the parts walls 4, the inner surfaces 5 of which are shaped and arranged in the manner of a truncated pyramid or truncated cone. The walls of the lower part 1 are preferably designed in this way, as can be seen from FIG. 2. If an ice cream ball 6 is inserted into such a department, contact with the inner surfaces of the corresponding packaging part only occurs the areas 7, i.e. with a small part of the ball.

Fig. 1 shows that the rising edges 8 of the walls 4, provided that they are truncated pyramid-shaped, are rounded. If the walls are frustoconical, the rounding of course results naturally.

In a preferred embodiment shown in the drawing in FIG. 2, the part 1 lying below when used as intended is divided into sections with pyramid-shaped or frustoconical individual surfaces, and the upper part 2 is divided into such sections with hemispherically shaped surfaces 9. Such an embodiment fits the spherical stimulant 6 in a particularly good manner and in this way allows easy control of the content. In such cases, however, care should be taken to ensure that the height of the upper part is matched to the intended content, that is to say the ball 6, in such a way that the upper part does not touch the content. In the drawing, Fig. 2, the difference mentioned is represented by the two arrows at 10.
