Bekanntlich wird Speiseeis, wenn es in Eiskaffees, Konditoreien und an ähnlichen Stätten serviert wird in Form von Kugeln in einen Becher oder einer Schale gegeben, manchmal auch noch mit Schlagsahne und anderen Zusätzen verziert und in dieser Form den Kunden dargeboten. Die Eiskugeln werden mit Hilfe besonderer Zangen einem Vorrat entnommen und dann unmittelbar in den Becher, die Schale o.dgl. gelegt. Der kugelförmige Schöpfteil der Zange läßt sich hierzu über einen besonderen Mechanismus leicht aufweiten, so daß es möglich ist, die Kugel problemlos in dem Becher abzulegen. Allerdings setzt die einwandfreie Funktion der Zange voraus, daß die Speiseeis-Masse eine geeignete Temperatur und damit Konsistenz aufweist. Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe wird vorgeschlagen, daß die Packung aus zwei zueinander passenden Teilen, nämlich einem Unterteil und einem Oberteil besteht und daß beide Teile jeweils in mehrere einander zugeordnete Abteilungen unterteilt sind, wobei die Abteilungen wenigstens eines der Teile Wände aufweisen, deren Innenfläche nach Art eines Pyramiden- oder Kegelstumpfes geformt und angeordnet sind. Besonders günstig ist es, wenn zumindest die bei bestimmungsgemäßem Gebrauch untere Schale in der angegebenen Weise geformt ist. Wird in eine solche Schale eine Speiseeis-Kugel gelegt, so berührt diese mit ihrer Oberfläche die Verpackung nur in einem verhältnismäßig kleinen Bereich. Die anderen Bereiche schweben frei und erhalten keinen Kontakt mit dem Verpackungsmaterial. Fig. 2 zeigt zunächst, daß die Packung aus zwei zueinander passenden Teilen besteht, nämlich einem Unterteil 1 und einem Oberteil 2. Bei diesen beiden Teilen handelt es sich vorzugsweise um tiefgezogene Schalen, die aus durchsichtigem oder durchscheinendem Kunststoff bestehen, wobei das Material so ausgewählt wird, daß die Schalen zwar möglichst leicht und dünn sind, aber doch eine hinreichende Steifigkeit aufweisen. Jede der beiden Teile ist in mehrere einander zugeordnete Abteilungen 3;3' unterteilt; bei dem in Fig. 1 dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiel sind insgesamt 9 derartige Abteilungen vorgesehen. Neuerungsgemäß weisen die Abteilungen wenigstens eines der Teile Wände 4 auf, deren Innenflächen 5 nach Art eines Pyramiden-oder Kegelstumpfes geformt und angeordnet sind. Vorzugsweise sind die Wände des Unterteiles 1 in dieser Weise ausgestaltet, wie dies aus Fig. 2 ersichtlich ist.
