Description

The invention relates to an insole for shoes, or the like with a sole body made of fiber material.

Insoles made of felt or similar porous material are intended to increase walking comfort and are used for heat-insulating, air-permeable foot support. In order to increase wellbeing, there are already soles with medicinal herbs embedded in the fiber material, which not only influence the formation of sweat and odors, but also have a strengthening and disinfecting effect on the foot. However, these insoles are not very durable due to their loose, air-permeable structure and the fiber material directly exposed to the foot and thus compressed when worn can only bring out the herbal effect to a limited extent.

Apart from these felt or herbal soles, it has also been proposed to insert a sole with a latticework on the top in order to subject the foot to a certain massage while walking and to prevent signs of fatigue. However, the massage effect alone has not proven to be very effective, so that the insoles with a lattice structure have so far not been able to establish themselves.

The invention is therefore based on the object of eliminating these deficiencies and creating an insole of the type described at the outset which produces a particularly refreshing, beneficial feeling and is distinguished by its considerable robustness and durability.

The invention solves this problem by combining the known features that herbs are embedded in the sole body and a lattice work or the like on the upper side of the sole body. is applied. The latticework provides the actual, herbaceous sole body protection against excessive compression and wear-related damage and allows the herbs embedded in the sole body to develop fully even over a long period of time. At the same time, the lattice massages the foot while walking, stimulates the blood circulation and promotes skin breathing, so that the desired influence of the herbs is to some extent multiplied and can be felt intensively. The stimulation of the extremely sensitive sole of the foot through the given massage leads to an optimal absorption of the herbal substances, the refreshing, soothing effects of which can therefore also have an increased noticeable effect. In addition, it should be borne in mind that the primitive man was prepared to walk barefoot on grass and herbaceous soil, and the sole stimulated by the roughness of the soil was able to absorb the substances of the soil plants, which can now be understood with the combination of latticework and herbal sole and to a certain extent original , of course, to restore healthy conditions for the foot. The interior according to the invention Sole can be used as a fixed footbed in the shoe or as a replaceable insole and, regardless of its type of use, always creates a pleasant, fatigue-free walking feeling thanks to the special combination of the herbal effect with the massage effect.

A wide variety of coarser meshes, knitted fabrics or real grids are suitable as the lattice work, but there are particularly favorable conditions if the lattice work according to the invention consists of a cotton leno fabric. As leno fabrics are fabrics with warp and weft threads crossing each other at right angles, in which two or more warp threads running next to each other are wrapped around each other between two wefts and thereby assume an oblique position. The leno fabric forms sturdy stitches, leads through the knots to an effective massage and the cotton material itself remains well tolerated for a long time.

If the latticework is glued to the sole body by means of a solvent-free adhesive, preferably latex, the lattice work is permanently adhered to the sole body without fear of unpleasant side effects from volatilizing solvents.

In the drawing, an insole according to the invention is illustrated purely schematically using a cross section.

An insole 2 is applied to a cork footbed 1 and consists of a sole body 3 with a latticework 4, for example a cotton leno fabric, glued on the top. Serves as the sole body 3 a so-called herbal felt, in which dried herbs 5 are embedded between two cover layers 3a made of fiber material. This combination of lattice 4 and herbal felt 3a, 5 results in a particularly high walking comfort, since the massage effect of lattice 4 increases the effect of herbs 5, lattice 4 not only protecting the sole body 3 from wear, but also maintains its air permeability and can bring the existing herbs to their full advantage.
