Description
Die Erfindung geht aus von einem Verpackungsbehälter mit einem Überdruckventil nach der Gattung des Anspruchs 1. Bei einem beispielsweise durch die US-A-4 051 973 bekannten Verpackungsbehälter dieser Art überspannt die streifenförmige Membran einen nach außen gewölbten Teil des Deckels des Behälters, in dem die Durchlaßöffnung angeordnet ist. Die Membran ist mit zwei einander gegenüberliegenden Randbereichen an der Wölbung des Deckels befestigt, wobei der mittlere, freie Teil einen Kanal begrenzt, der bei Überdruck im Behälterinneren aufgeweitet und bei Gleich- oder Unterdruck geschlossen ist. Die verhältnismäßig große Durchlaßöffnung bildet eine große Druckangriffsfläche für die Membran; durch sie können aber auch Füllgutteilchen in den Kanal gelangen und sich dort festsetzen, so daß nach Druckabbau ein vollständiges Anliegen der Membran an der Behälterwand verhindert wird. Durch so gebildete Kanülen können Luftsauerstoff und Mikroben in das Innere des Behälters gelangen und das verpackte Gut verderben. Da sich die Membran zum Abdichten an die Wölbung der Wand formmäßig anpassen und zum Ablassen des Druckes durch Abheben dehnen muß, besteht sie aus einem elastischen Werkstoff. Um die Membran so weit zu dehnen, daß ihr mittlerer Teil von der Behälterwand abhebt, ist ein großer Überdruck erforderlich, dem der gesamte Behälter standhalten muß.The invention relates to a packaging container with a pressure relief valve according to the preamble of claim 1. Diese Anordnung hat den Nachteil, daß bei einem Packungsinhalt mit kömigen oder pulverigen Teilchen, beispielweise gemahlener Kaffee, Gutteilchen durch die Durchlaßöffnung in den Entgasungskanal gelangen und dort hängenbleiben können, so daß ein dichtes Schließen des Ventils nicht mehr möglich ist. Ferner ist bei nicht starrem Inhalt des Behälters nachteilig, daß sich durch Verlagerung von Teilchen des Inhalts die zunächst plane Wand des Verpackungsbehälters verformt mit der Folge, daß im freien, den Kanal deckenden Teil der Membran Spannungen auftreten, durch die ein Öffnen des Ventils erst bei hohem Innendruck möglich ist. Die Membran 11 hat vorzugsweise eine Kreisfläche, diese kann jedoch auch quadratisch mit abgerundeten Ecken sein. Die Membran 11 liegt auf der Wand 5 des Deckels 2 auf und verschließt eine Durchlaßöffnung 12 in der Wand des Deckels 2. Sie ist mittels zweier paralleler Klebstoffstreifen 13 in einander gegenüber liegenden Randzonen auf der Oberseite des Deckels 2 befestigt.
