Definitions

  • the present invention relates to insulating blocks intended for the construction of the outer and inner insulating walls of a building.
  • buildings with insulating walls have been made for a long time, and constituted in different ways, for example, after having produced the load-bearing wall, we then come to place on the site adequate insulation, or again, these insulating walls are formed by prefabricated panels in which an insulation is incorporated, or even, an entire masonry or an insulating construction system is provided. If these systems give satisfactory results by very careful and therefore very slow applications, the fact remains that certain faults are not avoided.
  • Document DE-U 8 432 629 discloses for example an insulating formwork brick for high constructions, which has a channel passing through it vertically for the supply of filling concrete, and a space provided vertically in a longitudinal bracing element which it comprises, for the installation of a thermal insulation insert in the form of a plate, space which extends over the length of the brick between the crosspieces which form the ends of that -this, in particular with planar-parallel bearing faces milled to the exact height of the brick, with grooves and tongues.
  • the space in which the insulation insert is to be placed widens in the shape of a trapezoid in horizontal section.
  • Concrete masonry blocks are also currently proposed, linked together by elements of expanded polystyrene obtained by molding.
  • the blocks will have to be masonry; provision should therefore be made for the expanded polystrene element to protrude above the concrete block and this in order to avoid thermal bridges due to the layer of mortar to be placed on the concrete block.
  • thermal bridge it is essential that the insulation is continuous, that is to say touching, which implies that the mortar joint between the blocks always has the same thickness.
  • the method of manufacturing insulating blocks proposed by the present invention for the dry construction of walls and walls uses blocks constituted by a standardized series of hollow formwork blocks of the same height composed of concrete mortars of mineralized wood chips and agglomerated with cement to which after hardening is fixed an insulating element of expanded polystyrene, characterized in that blocks and insulators are then recalibrated together so as to obtain insulating blocks all having an identical height, both the insulating block itself as well as the insulating element fixed on the block.
  • the insulating expanded polystyrene element can be fixed externally or internally on the front or rear face and / or also one of the two lateral faces of the hollow formwork blocks.
  • the recalibration can concern the horizontal faces but also the vertical faces in contact, and obtain one or more perfectly flat and symmetrical contact faces.
  • the insulating element which could be an additional insulating element, the block itself being able to be made of insulating materials, or even internally lined with an insulating element. , fixing for example by gluing, stapling, nailing, or even, partial nesting.
  • These hollow blocks 1 can be of different types, for example one part ( Figure 2) or two by hollow ties ( Figure 1). These can be normal blocks, universal blocks or corner blocks, half end blocks, beat blocks, half beat, special blocks making up gaps, ... These different blocks have not been illustrated but, of course, they are designed and treated so as to become insulating blocks according to the invention.
  • a layer of insulating material generally expanded polystyrene, a layer which must at least take up the entire height of block 1 and the entire width of the hollow part of this same block, but generally, the entire exposure face. of the block 1.
  • a difference, even slight, in height between the block 1 and the layer of insulating material 2 will have the consequence during the heaping of the blocks, that, either, if the height of the layer 2 is less to that of block 1, there will be a space which will be imperfectly insulated, conversely, if the layer of insulating material 2 exceeds the height of block 1, it will prevent the next block from being placed perfectly flat in a heap.
  • a block 1 provided with a layer of insulating material 2 carrying on the entire outer face of the block and therefore not necessarily the entire width; Indeed, it is possible to find set back from the front face of the block, cutouts and projections which will be used for the horizontal nesting, side by side, of the blocks.
  • a block 1 has been illustrated comprising both a layer of insulating material 2 on the outside face of the block 1, but also an inside face 1 "of the wall, outside side of the block 1; , it is possible to provide a layer of insulating material 2 only outside the block 1, or alternatively, only on the inside face of the wall, outside side, or the combination of the two.
  • a layer of insulating material is generally provided on both sides which will be found on the outside and this on the outside face, or the inside face of the wall. , exterior side, or both.
  • the layer of insulating material 2 on the inside of the outside wall of the block is slid behind two protuberances 3, the shape of which can vary; this in no way modifies the general principle of the invention; the same is true of the arrangements made to ensure the nesting of the blocks, one above the other and side by side.
  • the layer of insulating material 2 is bonded to the face of the blocks; however, it could be stapled, nailed ... or other means of attachment.
  • we recalibrate the two laying surfaces that is to say lower 1a and upper 1b, so as to avoid any overshoot of the layer of insulating material, so many the lower horizontal section 2a, than upper 2b.
  • recalibration is carried out in the factory, which could be only horizontal surfaces 1a, 2a and 1b, 2b but also lateral surfaces in left and right contact both of the block 1 itself and of the insulating layers 2.
  • insulating blocks as described, is particularly simple and rapid: after having laid the first pile on a perfectly flat surface, or failing this on a bed of mortar, the blocks constituting the different piles are stacked and this completely dry , to then place the metal reinforcements and any pipes in the blocks and fill them with concrete.
  • the recalibration treatment will in no way modify the qualities of the insulating block which will therefore meet the usual prescriptions and, in particular, have a very efficient insulation coefficient while allowing rapid implementation of the blocks and by unskilled labor.
  • the laying surface will not be formed by one and the same plane but by laying surfaces facing perfectly flat and symmetrical .
