Abstract

1. A prismatic packaging container comprising two head elements (1), which constitute the end walls, and a container shell (2), which is made of corrugated board or the like and is secured to the head elements (1) by means of angled edge lugs (6) and consists of one or more parts, characterized in that the head elements (1) consist of wooden or woodfibre boards and of edge bars (4) each edge bar is spaced from the wooden or woodfibre boards (3) a distance corresponding to the thickness of the corrugated board by at least two spacer plates (5) and the angled edge lugs (6) are adapted to be snugly fitted into the spaces which ae kept free by the spacer plates (5) between the edge bars (4) and the wooden or woodfibre boards (3) of the head elements (1).
