Abstract

Base oils can be substantially improved with respect to their oxidation stability and heat stability by the addition of additive combinations consisting of organic phosphates and organic phosphites as well as, if appropriate, silicones. <??>These lubricants are particularly suitable for refrigeration machines, heat pumps and similar installations, such as air-conditioning units. They can also be used as compressor oils and hydraulic oils.
