Description

The present invention relates to keyboards for electrical or electronic controls.

The keyboards currently in use include keys directly accessible to the user, who can touch with the finger such or such key opening or closing such or such circuit. Among the most well-known keyboards, mention may be made of those called “digiclefs” used in particular to form a code provided in advance (but which may be periodically modified) tolerating the opening of a door, or another operation. The “digidefs” have improved security in buildings, and their use is becoming general, but their installation remains expensive. The invention which will be described below, is applicable not to "Digiclefs", taken as an example, but also to keyboards.

The keypad currently in service for opening the doors essentially consists of a box, the cover of which includes lights, mechanical keys passing through or accessible through the lights, and an electrical or electronic device closing a circuit when the code is properly form. In fact, each key controls a switch whose contacts are fragile. To avoid this drawback, keyboards have already been constructed with contacts contained in sealed bulbs, for example those known under the name "ILS " . In this case, the axes of the bulbs are parallel to the cover of the box, which causes a significant size and said bulbs are controlled by keys on which the user must properly press. We also know the document FR-A-2,089,689 filed April 15, 1979, entitled "control panel and describing blade contacts located on the internal face of a panel made of non-magnetic material, and visible signs on its external face indicating the sensitive zones corresponding to the contacts which will be closed when a magnet is placed by the user on the external face opposite said zones The visible signs, playing the role of the keys must be sufficiently spaced to avoid that the approach of a magnet influences neighboring contacts, and therefore to avoid risks of command errors. Despite the distance between the contacts, these consoles are not used for the control of safety devices. They are relatively large, and used as a desk by one or more selected people who know how it works, such as directors, department heads, teachers. These keys are necessarily accessible from the outside and susceptible to vandalism. The safety of the device itself cannot be guaranteed due to this external accessibility.

The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks. The invention, as characterized in the claims, solves the problem of creating a keyboard usable for any public, for the formation of codes, in order to control a security device, such as that tolerant or prohibiting the opening of a door.

The subject of the invention is a keyboard of the aforementioned type comprising a box containing a device comprising bulbs with contact blades sensitive to a magnetic field caused by a removable magnet presented externally to the box and a panel or wall which closes the opening of the box and has dormers and the solid part of which is made of a material which does not allow the magnetic field to pass, under each dormer being arranged the blades of a bulb so as to be actuable under the effect of the magnetic field caused by the '' removable magnet only when presented in front of the skylight, outside the box, the bulbs being arranged in the box perpendicular to the skylights of the wall, the axis of each group of blades coinciding approximately with the normal to the plane of the skylight . This keyboard is characterized, according to the present invention, by the fact that, in the case where it allows the formation of electrical control codes, the bulbs are mounted between two shelves of insulating material, provided with printed circuits forming a chassis and electrically connecting the blades.

According to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the bulbs with contact blades consist of a single bulb provided with several pairs of contact blades, each pair of contact blades being disposed facing a determined skylight and having their axis coinciding approximately with the normal to the plane of the skylight considered.

Advantageously, the wall is formed by a plate or a sheet of steel. It can be fixed externally on the edge of the opening, and form a cover for the box.

According to another embodiment, this wall is disposed inside the opening and fixed to the face, external or internal, of the tablet.

Preferably, the front face of the box is protected by a plate made of a material allowing the magnetic field to pass, and constituting the cover or double cover. This plate may in particular be made of safety glass.

Advantageously, the front face of the box is provided with a self-adhesive sheet of a material allowing the magnetic field to pass, so that the entire keyboard can be glued to the rear part of an existing window.

Preferably, the wall is fixed on the internal face of a self-adhesive sheet of a material allowing the magnetic field to pass, and provided with a numbering of the dormer windows of the wall so that the entire keyboard can be fixed on the rear side of an existing window.

To better understand the invention, it is given below an exemplary embodiment with reference to the accompanying drawings:
  • Figure 1 is an overall perspective view,
  • FIG. 2 is a diagrammatic section along II-II of FIG. 1,
  • Figure 3 is a schematic section of a keyboard glued to a window.

Figure 2 shows the opening of the box obstructed by a wall 2 placed externally on its edge. This wall 2 is constituted by a rigid panel forming a cover and comprising the orifices 3 to 12, it is further protected by a glass plate 13 glued or fixed to it by any known means. The circular holes 3 to 12 are visible through the plate 13 and are called dormers.

Inside the box 1, under each skylight, is fixed a known bulb 14 with its blades 15, 16 which can touch or move away under the effect of a magnetic field. These bulbs can be arranged, depending on the model, parallel to the cover, or perpendicularly. In the latter case, the depth of the box must be appreciably greater than in the first case, but on the other hand the space requirement on the front is much less. The diameter of the openings 3 to 12 is relatively small: a miniature keyboard is thus obtained. The example given illustrates this case and we see that the axes of the bulbs coincide with those of the skylights. The bulbs are mounted between two shelves 17, 19 forming a frame. These tablets are made of a material that does not conduct electricity.

These tablets 17, 19 have printed circuits 18, 20 to which are connected the wires which exit from the ends of the bulbs. The chassis and its bulbs are fixed in the box by usual means.

According to a variant, instead of placing the obstructive wall outside the opening, as a cover panel, it can be placed inside. In this case, the panel 2 is removed and replaced by a metal sheet 2 'bonded to the external or internal face of the tablet 17, obviously with the orifices necessary for the proper functioning of the device. In this exemplary embodiment, it is exclusively the glass plate 13 which protects the box and its contents.

When approaching the North Pole of a small bar 21 magnetized from the skylight 3, the magnetic field passes only through this skylight. The solid part of the wall (panel 2 or sheet 2 '), made of material which does not allow the magnetic field to pass, prevents any influence of the magnet 21 on the other bulbs, and it can be said that the skylight channels the field magnetic. This field can be collected by a metal plate provided in the bulb, and which leads it near the blades 15, 16. The blades 15, 16 are thus attracted against each other and close a contact during the whole suitable presentation time of the magnet in front of the window.

By presenting this magnet 21 successively in front of different skylights chosen voluntarily, one acts exactly as if one pressed on the various keys of a keyboard, and one can thus form the desired code allowing to close the control circuit of a motor or other. We can for example authorize the opening of a door.

In the two examples shown we see bulbs 14 with two blades 15, 16, one per skylight, but we could replace them with a single bulb containing as many pairs of blades as skylights, and similarly arranged under them.

In Figures 1 and 2, the protective plate 13 has been specially cut to the size of the box 1 attached to it as a cover. Such a keyboard is usable in the usual way, that is to say placed outside the trunk or the building to be opened.

Dans ce cas, la vitre 23 de la porte (ou autre vitre) joue le rôle de la plaque 13.Such a keyboard can be applied behind a window, and therefore inside a safe or a building to be protected, including the keyboard. In this case, the window 23 of the door (or other window) plays the role of the plate 13.

La feuille autocollante 22 peut être remplacée par tout autre moyen de fixation de la boîte 1 sur la vitre 23.According to FIG. 3, the front face of the box 1 (without plate 13) is provided with a self-adhesive sheet 22 on its two faces made of a material allowing the magnetic field to pass through well, so that the entire keyboard can be glued on the rear face of the existing window 23. Thus the user presents his magnet in front of the appropriate skylights, from the outside of the door he wants to open, and therefore the keyboard is therefore perfectly protected and little of charges. The external connections of such a keyboard to an electrical or other type of mix are carried out in a conventional manner. In this case, the wall 2 can be in the form of a panel (Fig. 1) or a sheet 2 'glued to the shelf 17 (Fig. 3), but it can also be in the form of 'A steel sheet fixed on the inner face of the self-adhesive sheet 22 which is made of a material allowing the magnetic field to pass through well. In these latter examples, sheet 22 can be provided with a numbering of the skylights, perfectly visible from the outside. Obviously the invention allows the manufacture and use of keyboards having a varied number of skylights; for example three in simple cases to more than one hundred in complex cases. The adhesive sheet 22 can be replaced by any other means of fixing the box 1 to the window 23.

Among the advantages of such a keyboard, it is necessary to underline the possibilities of miniaturization, the impossibility of making the code without the magnetic bar adapted for this purpose, and especially the protection of the whole of the keyboard behind a window 23 or a plate. of safety glass 13, robust, smooth, easy to clean.

The keyboard can also be fixed behind an opaque wall allowing the magnetic flux to pass through it. This plate can be of any type, such as for example constituting the leaf of a door, a building or furniture. In this case the keyboard is not only protected, but equal ment invisible from the outside, and therefore the very existence of said keyboard can only be revealed to people who have to use it. A keyboard as described above is thus capable of ensuring not only the security of the building or of the piece of furniture in which it is placed, but also of ensuring its self-protection.
