An electromechanical device for manipulating a code-controlled door or access comprising a control unit arranged in the vicinity of the lock of said door or access and having a code input interface comprising a keyboard or the like (1), said interface (1, 2) being connected to a comparator (3) which also receives the normal code recorded in electronic form in a memory (4), said comparator controlling an electrical actuator (6) when the code entered by the user on the keyboard (1) is the same as the normal code recorded in the memory (4), and a remotely situated monitoring unit, the control unit also comprising an alarm circuit (7, 12-15) which is sensitive to the actuation of a coercion code generating an alarm for coding under coercion which is transmitted to the monitoring unit, characterised in that said coercion code is a short code entered after the normal code and in that said alarm circuit is actuated for a short period by entering the normal code.

An electromechanical manipulating device according to claim 1, characterised in that the control unit comprises a time-delay system (8) which is actuated by the comparator (3) when the typed code is correct, the time delay signal being transmitted to an AND logic circuit (7, 15) which also receives a signal denoting that one or more additional predetermined code elements have been composed on the keyboard.
3. An electromechanical manipulating device according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the control unit comprises a memory (9) which stores said alarm signal for coding coercion, said memory (9) being reset to zero by the monitoring unit.
4. An electromechanical manipulating device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterised in that the time delay system (8) is adjusted for a short duration of the order of a few seconds.
5. An electromechanical manipulating device according to claim 3, characterised in that said memory (9) is constituted by two NOR logic gates (17, 18) connected in series, the output of the second NOR gate (18) being connected to one of the inputs of the second NOR gate (17).
