Abstract
Description
- La présente invention a trait à un boîtier métallique de connecteur d'un câble avec tresse de masse entourant des conducteurs électriques isolés dépassant l'extrémité de ladite tresse, les extrémités des conducteurs étant reliées à une fiche de connecteur multibroche, ledit boîtier étant muni d'une virole chapeautée par l'extrémité de la tresse de masse, ladite extrémité étant maintenue en place autour de la virole par une ferrule.
- Un boîtier de ce type est décrit dans le brevet US-A-3391381.
- Dans le boîtier connu la mise en place du câble et des conducteurs est très difficile de plus le support n'est pas métallique et la fonction de blindage contre les perturbations électromagnétiques extérieures n'est réalisée que par l'adjonction d'un boîtier complémentaire.
- Le boîtier selon l'invention assurant un très bon blindage contre les perturbations électromagnétiques extérieures et étant de montage très simple est caractérisé en ce que ledit boîtier comporte un étrier constitué d'un bras central et de deux bras latéraux et latéralement de deux couvercles muni de rebords orthogonaux aux plans des couvercles ladite virole étant solidaire du bras central de l'étrier et dirigée selon l'axe de l'étrier et en ce que l'étrier comporte sur ses deux bras latéraux deux doubles pattes de fixation sur lesquelles sont vissés les deux couvercles ainsi que, aux extrémités de ses deux bras latéraux, deux pattes dirigées vers l'intérieur, contre lesquelles vient prendre appui le support métallique de la fiche de connecteur, ledit support étant emprisonné entre lesdites pattes recourbées et des rebords des couvercles, les bords de l'étrier étant recouverts par des rebords des couvercles.
- Grâce aux rebords des couvercles les extrémités des conducteurs sont emprisonnées dans un volume hermétique aux perturbations électromagnétiques.
- D'autre part la liaison électrique entre la tresse de masse et l'étrier est très bonne grâce à la présence de la virole de l'étrier.
- Selon un perfectionnement de l'invention le bras central et les pattes recourbées sont munis de découpes sur les bords desquelles s'appuient deux colonnes qui dépassent de part et d'autre de la virole à travers les orifices du bras central, les colonnes ayant chacune une extrémité filetée passant à travers le support de la fiche de connecteur et pouvant être vissée dans un taraudage solidaire d'un bâti ou châssis.
- La présente invention sera mieux comprise à la lumière de la description qui va suivre en regard de la figure unique qui représente une vue éclatée du boîtier équipé, selon l'invention.
- Le boîtier comporte un étrier métallique 1 comprenant un bras central 2 et deux bras latéraux 3 orthogonaux au bras central 2.
- Le bras central 2 est muni dans son centre d'une virole 4 de même axe que l'étrier 1 et de deux orifices 5 disposés de part et d'autre de la virole 4.
- Chaque bras 3 est muni à mi-hauteur d'une double patte 6 et à son extrémité d'une courte patte 7 dirigée vers l'intérieur de l'étrier 1 et muni d'une découpe 8 à l'aplomb d'un des orifices 5.
- Le support métallique 9 d'une fiche 10 de connecteur multibroche est appliqué contre les pattes 7.
- Deux couvercles métalliques 11 munis de rebords 12 sont vissés sur les doubles pattes 6. Celles-ci sont munies de trous taraudés à cet effet. Le support métallique 9 est emprisonné entre les pattes 7 et les rebords 12 des couvercles. Les rebords 12 entourent le support 9 les bras latéraux 3 et le bras central 2 de l'étrier 1.
- Dans la figure on voit également l'extrémité d'un câble 13. Cette extrémité comporte une tresse de masse 15 qui dépasse de la gaine isolante extérieure 14 du câble 13 d'une longueur égale à la hauteur de la virole 4.
- Une gaine isolante intérieure 16 dépasse de la tresse de masse 15, et des paires de conducteurs électriques blindés 17 dépassent de la gaine intérieure 16.
- Dans le boîtier monté les extrémités 18 des conducteurs de paires blindées 17 sont reliées à la fiche de connecteur multibroche 10.
- La tresse de masse 15 vient chapeauter la virole 4 qui vient ainsi se loger entre la tresse de masse 15 et la gaine intérieure 16.
- Une ferrule en métal mou 19 par exemple en cuivre vient entourer l'extrémité de la tresse de masse 15. Cette ferrule 19 est déformée par sertissage pour que soient solidarisées ensemble la virole 4, la ferrule 19 et la tresse de masse 15. La continuité électrique est ainsi excellente entre boîtier et tresse de masse 15.
- Le boîtier est muni de deux colonnes cylindriques 20 ayant chacune une extrémité filetée 21 et une gorge 25 adjacente à cette extrémité filetée. Ces colonnes 20 passent à travers les orifices 5 et viennent s'appuyer sur les bords des découpes 8 en laissant dépasser l'extrémité filetée 21 ; les gorges 25 des colonnes, introduites dans les découpes 8 des pattes de l'étrier, assurent l'imperdabilité des colonnes. Ces extrémités 21 passent à travers des orifices 22 du support 9 de la fiche et sont vissées dans des taraudages solidaires d'un bâti ou châssis (non représenté).
- Entre les colonnes 20 et les pattes 7 on peut disposer des rondelles de serrage 23. Les colonnes 20 une fois en place dépassent des orifices 5 afin qu'on puisse les dévisser et les visser.
