Claims (8)

1. Locking cylinder with pin tumblers, a cylinder housing (6), a cylinder core (5) which is rotatably mounted in a bore of the cylinder housing (6) and a plurality of pairs of housing pins (3) and core pins (2) which are returned by spring force to a key passage which is machined axially into the said cylinder core (5), a coded key (1) which slides in the said key passage and comprises incisions (1') which co-operate each with one of the said pairs (2, 3) in order to displace it against the action of the said spring means (4, 11) in such a way that the plane of separation between each core pin (2) and each housing pin (3) of a pair is in contact with the circumferential line of the said cylinder core (5), characterised in that the pairs of housing pins (3) and core pins (2) and their pin springs (4, 11) are pre-fitted in a radial bore (6') each of the cylinder housing (6), the said radial bores (6') are arranged angularly about the axis of the locking cylinder in at least one diametrical plane and are closed at their inner end by a stop (9, 10) removable in the insertion of the cylinder core (5), while the said cylinder core (5) comprises axial catch means (5") which are bringable into contact with angular stop means of the housing (6).
2. Locking cylinder according to Claim 1, characterised in that the said radial bores (6') are formed in a part (6) which is inserted into a lock.
3. Locking cylinder according to one of Claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the said radial bores (6') lead out on the external circumference of the cylinder housing (6) and are closed by a ring which is common to at least the bores (6') of one and the same diametrical plane.
4. Locking cylinder according to one of Claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the said radial bores (6') lead out on the external circumference of the cylinder housing (6) and are closed by a deformable dog (8).
5. Locking cylinder according to one of Claims 1 and 2, characterised in that the said radial bores (6') lead out on the external circumference of the cylinder housing (8) and are closed by an elastic ring (11) which is common to the bores (6') of one and the same diametrical plane.
6. Locking cylinder according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the said radial bores (6') are closed at their inner end by a ring (9) which is common to at least the bores (6') of one and the same diametrical plane and which is ejected in the insertion of the cylinder core (5).
7. Locking cylinder according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterised in that the said radial bores (6') are closed at their inner end by a dog (10) which can be cut away and ejected in the insertion of the cylinder core (5).
8. Locking cylinder according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterised in that the core pins (2) and/or the housing pins (3) are replaced by balls.
