Description
The invention relates to a wheel, in particular to a belt wheel for weft insertion on a weaving machine, consisting of a wheel hub and a wheel body operatively connected to it.
From CH-PS 629 859 for the weft insertion on a loom an oscillating driven belt wheel is known, which has a wheel hub and a wheel body formed from a plurality of cells arranged parallel to the wheel axis as a honeycomb structure, which is closed on both sides by a circular plate and with which Wheel hub is operatively connected. The stiffness required for modern high-performance weaving machines is not sufficiently guaranteed with the belt wheel described above.
It is therefore an object of the invention to provide a belt wheel of the type mentioned at the outset, with which an increase in rigidity is achieved with a low weight and a space-saving arrangement on the weaving machine.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the wheel body in the area of a radial connecting plane lying on the axial width is subdivided into a first wheel disk with an end wall and a second wheel disk with an end wall, and in that the end walls are distributed in circumferential and correspondingly arranged first spoke parts and second spoke parts are divided, of which the second spokes parts each have a pocket-like inward wall and an essentially intersecting wall structure on the connecting plane, which are operatively connected to wall sections which are divided into segments on the circumference and formed in an annular manner.
Due to the alternating arrangement of the first and second spoke parts in the circumferential direction, but in particular due to the second spoke parts with a crossing wall structure, a high resistance to stress in the transverse direction is achieved, so that a smooth running and high stability is achieved even when transverse forces occur. At the same time, the band wheel according to the invention can be produced from a material, for example from glass fiber reinforced plastic, which has a low specific weight (density), as a result of which a low moment of inertia is achieved. This improves both the shear load capacity and the manufacture of the belt wheel.

The above-described
