Description

The present invention relates to a heating radiator arrangement with at least one rod for hanging objects, the rod being removably attached to the radiator by means of at least one holder.

From CH-PS 415 533 a heating radiator arrangement of the type mentioned is known. In this arrangement, a grate which can be set at different angles of inclination to the horizontal plane and has several horizontal bars serving to hold objects is removably attached to the radiator. A bracket, which is attached to the radiator by a screw connection, is used to attach the grate. Tightening the nut between a wall and the side of the radiator facing this wall is often difficult. This results in installation difficulties. Another disadvantage of this arrangement is that after use the grate has to be removed from the radiator and supplied with what. often difficult because of its bulk. The screwed-on holder which remains on the radiator after the grate has been removed also has no shapes which are pleasing to human perception and in many cases protrudes from the front plane of the radiator in a disruptive manner. The holder also consists of a relatively large number of parts, so that this arrangement is also associated with economic disadvantages.

The object of the present invention is to provide a heating radiator arrangement of the type mentioned at the outset, in which the holder can be easily mounted and the rod used for hanging objects can be supplied in a space-saving manner in the rest position, in the rest position nothing protrudes from the front level of the radiator and the also has economic advantages.

The object is achieved in that the holder has at least one resilient part, with which it is snapped into an elongated gap of the radiator and lies behind the front surface of the radiator facing a room to be heated and the rod on the holder is in an operating position is movably attached to a rest position, being in the Operating position is aligned horizontally in front of the front surface of the radiator and in the rest position lies in the elongated gap of the radiator behind the front surface. The snap fastening of the holder to the radiator enables easy installation. The holder itself and the rod are in the rest position behind the front surface of the radiator, so that nothing projects from the radiator in the rest position. In the rest position, the rod is supplied in a space-saving manner in the elongated gap of the radiator. The simplicity of the arrangement also ensures economic advantages.

The holder can protrude into a space between the radiator and a wall behind it. By utilizing this space, practically any hanging device consisting of several rods can be supplied in the rest position behind the front surface of the radiator.

The rod can be pivotally attached to the holder. In particular, if the swivel plane is arranged vertically, the rod can be locked at least in the operating position. This arrangement can also be used for radiators with elongated gaps running in the vertical direction.

Advantageously, at least one holder mounted in a horizontal gap of the radiator and at least one horizontal rod parallel to the front surface and guided in the holder perpendicular to the front surface can be provided. Each holder can form the outer shell of a plurality of telescopically telescoping guide pieces each carrying at least one rod. Two holders are preferably provided in the two end regions of the elongated gap of the radiator.

The holder advantageously has at least one spring strut encompassing the gap edge of the radiator. In order to be able to absorb the torque occurring in the operating position on the radiator when the rod can be inserted into a horizontal gap, the root of the spring strut is arranged on the side of the gap edge of the radiator that is under pressure when the rod is loaded. For cost and manufacturing reasons, the holder advantageously consists of a heat-resistant plastic.

A holder 5 made of a heat-resistant plastic is detachably snapped into an elongated gap 4 delimited by two pipes 3. A rod 6 is pivotally attached to the holder 5. This rod 6 is in the rest position in the elongated gap 4 of the radiator. It can be brought out of this rest position by swinging it out into an operating position shown in FIG. 3. In this position, the bar is used to hang objects. In most cases, these are items such as laundry, towels or clothes that are to be dried.

It can be clearly seen in FIG. 2 that the holder 5 lies behind the front surface 8 of the radiator 1 facing a room to be heated. The holder 5 has two resilient parts 9 with which it is snapped into the elongated gap 4 of the radiator 1. The rod 6 is pivotable about a shaft 10 inserted into a bore in the holder 5.

In Fig. 3 a section through the gap 4 of the radiator 1 is shown. The rod 6 is in the swung-out operating position. In this position, the nose 11 attached to the rear end of the rod 6 engages a stop formed on the holder 5, so that the rod 6 is locked in the operating position. From this position it can be brought into the rest position indicated by dashed lines in FIG. 3 by lifting, pulling out and then lowering it. The dot-dash line shows the path of movement of the tip of the rod 6. The radiator 1 is fastened to a wall 12 by means of fastening pieces 13.

An der einem zu heizenden Raum zugekehrten und der Wand 21 abgekehrten Seite des Radiators 14 liegt der Halter 17 hinter der Frontfläche 23.FIG. 4 shows a radiator 14 with two vertical collecting tubes 15, which are combined to form a frame at the top and bottom, and with a plurality of horizontal tubes 16. After the fourth tube 16 from the top, one tube is omitted in order to use two holders 17 to get a wider gap 18. 7 and 8, the holder 17 has a resilient part 19 on one side and a strut 20 on the other side, the holder 17 being snapped into the horizontal gap 18 of the radiator 14 by means of these resilient parts. The holder 17 itself projects into the space between the radiator 14 and a wall 21 located behind it. 22 into it, as can be seen from FIGS. 5, 6, 7 and 8. On the side of the radiator 14 facing a room to be heated and facing away from the wall 21, the holder 17 lies behind the front surface 23.

The holder 17 forms the outer shell of four telescopically telescopic guide pieces 25 each carrying a horizontal rod 24 parallel to the front surface 23. The extended operating position can be seen in FIGS. 5 and 7. 5 shows the top view and FIG. 7 shows an enlarged partial cross section of the radiator 14 along the line 26-26 in FIG. 5. In this operating position, the rods 24 can be used to hang up objects to be dried or heated, such as items of laundry, towels or clothes. When the rods 24 are loaded, a torque acts on the holder 17. The lower front side, bottom right in FIG. 7 and the upper rear side, top left in FIG. 7 of the gap edge of the radiator 14 are subjected to pressure. The unsprung roots of the resilient part 19 and the strut 20 are arranged at these pressure points of the gap edge. This measure prevents the holder 17 from tipping out of the gap 18 when the rods 24 are loaded. By lifting the extended guide pieces 25 with the rods 24, the holder 17 can be tilted out of the gap 18 if necessary.

Figures 4, 6 and 8 show the heating radiator arrangement in the rest position. The guide pieces 25 carrying the rods 24 are pushed into the holder 17 forming the outer shell of the guide pieces 25 which can be telescopically pushed into one another. The rods 24 lie partly in the gap 18 of the radiator 14 and partly in the space 22 between the radiator 14 and the wall 21. Nothing protrudes from the front surface 23 of the radiator 14 in this position of rest.

The holder 5 and 17 are made of a heat-resistant plastic, made of polytetrafluoroethylene.

In the gap 4 or 18 of the radiators 1 or 14, of course, other suspension devices, not described here in more detail, can also be snapped by means of suitable holders.

Particular advantages of the heating radiator arrangements described are that the suspension device can be easily mounted on the radiator and, after use, can be supplied in a space-saving manner in an elongated gap in the radiator without anything protruding from the front surface of the radiator in the rest position and that the arrangement is inexpensive.
