Abstract

1. Fire place comprising a combustion space and a two-leafed door, wherein door leaves (4, 5) partly overlapping each other in closing position are each articulated at the fire place by means of hinges, characterized in that at least one spring is associated to each of said door leaves (4, 5) urging the latter into closing position and that there is provided a catch (21) acting on overlapping door leaf (5), said catch being unlocked by the other of said door leaves (4).
