Claims (9)

1. Device for fixing an opened window shutter or door shutter (1) which is pivotally journalled with the aid of shutter hinges (2) on blocks (3) secured to the case of the window or door, with the blocks carrying a hinge spigot (5) which engages into a sleeve (6) of the shutter hinge (2), and with a latch (9) being provided which has a blocking abutment (11 a, 11 b) and which cooperates with a part fixed to the block, characterized in that the latch (9) is arranged on the sleeve (6) and is essentially displaceable in the direction of the sleeve axis; and in that the part fixed to the block consists of a block bar (7) or a formation (14) on a block bar.
2. Apparatus in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that the blocking abutment (11 a) engages around the block bar (7) at one side in the open position of the shutter (1).
3. Apparatus in accordance with claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that the shutter hinge (2) has a restricting abutment for the width of opening of the shutter (1) with the restricting abutment cooperating with the block bar (7).
4. Apparatus in accordance with claim 1 or claim 2, characterized in that the latch (9) carries two blocking abutments (11a, 11b) which engage around the block bar (7) on both sides.
5. Apparatus in accordance with claim 1, characterized in that the blocking abutment comprises a blocking finger which engages into a latch recess of the formation (14) on the block bar.
6. Apparatus in accordance with one of the claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the block bar (7) has a ramp body which lifts the latch (9) against a resetting force on opening of the shutter (1 ).
7. Apparatus in accordance with one of the claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the latch (9) is guided in an undercut axial groove (10) of the sleeve (6).
8. Apparatus in accordance with one of the claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the latch (9) is displaceably guided in the spigot receiving opening of the sleeve (6) with this opening being extended beyond the hinge spigot (5).
9. Apparatus in accordance with one of the claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the latch (9) is displaceably guided in an axially parallel bore (15) in the sleeve body.
