Abstract

So-called conducted interference immunity is required of home-entertainment electronic equipment, especially television sets. It is known, and has been found to be advantageous because of the antenna effect of the mains supply cable, to fit a coil arrangement in the connector to achieve this conducted interference immunity, which coil arrangement consists of one coil for each of the two cable wires, each of the two coils being inserted into the connector housing (7) between an associated connector pin (1) and an associated connecting terminal (4) for the relevant cable wire (8). In the mains plug according to the invention, together with a ring core, the two coils form a current-compensated ring-core inductor 5. Description

Von Geräten der Unterhaltungselektronik, insbesondere von Fernsehgeräten, wird z.B. in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland in der VDE-Vorschrift, Amtsblatt Nr. 69, die sogenannte Einströmstörfestigkeit gefordert. Es ist bekannt und hat sich wegen der Antennenwirkung des Netzanschlußkabels als vorteilhaft erwiesen, zum Erreichen dieser Einströmstörfestigkeit jeweils eine Spule zwischen jeden der beiden Null- und Phasenleitersteckerstifte und eine Anschlußklemme für die zugehörige Anschlußkabelader im Steckergehäuse einzufügen, also im Stecker unterzubringen. Bei dem bekannten Netzstecker der im Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1 angegebenen Gattung liegen die beiden Spulen parallel zueinander und sind durch einen Seperator voneinander getrennt. Sie bilden zusammen mit Sperrkondensatoren ein Netzfilter. Bekannt ist ferner eine Störschutzeinrichtung für über ein dreiadriges Kabel an das Netz anzuschließende Geräte. Diese Störschutzeinrichtung setzt ein abgeschirmtes Kabel voraus und ist in dessen dreipoligen Stecker eingebaut. Sie besteht aus einem Ringkern und zwei darauf gewickelten, symmetrischen Wicklungen, die jeweils in den Leitungszug des Phasenleiters und des Nulleiters des Anschlußkabels geschaltet sind, sowie aus mindestens auf einer Seite der Spulenanordnung zwischen den Leitungszug des Phasen- bzw. Nulleiters und den Leitungszug des Erdleiters geschalteten Kondensatoren, die zusammen mit den Spulen ein Netzfilter bilden. Bei einer für hohe Störfrequenzen vorgesehenen Ausführungsform dieser bekannten Störschutzeinrichtung bestehen die Kondensatoren aus der verteilten Kapazität des Kabels, die wegen des Erdleiters und der mit diesem verbundenen Abschirmung relativ groß ist (EP-A2-90 774).Also known is a noise protection device for devices to be connected to the network via a three-wire cable. Es wird vielmehr in neuartiger Konzeption mit den Induktivitäten der Ringkerndrossel allein die gewünschte Entstörung bzw. Der Kern der Ringkerndrossel ergibt zusammen mit der Aufnahme einen mechanisch sehr kompakten Aufbau, bei dem auch die Spulen unverrückbar festgelegt sind, und die stromkompensierte Ringkerndrossel 5 ergibt darüber hinaus auch eine besonders gute Einströmstörfestigkeit.Normally, mains supply cables for consumer electronics devices are provided with a Euro plug, which allows any European socket to be used. Claims (4)

  2. Mains plug according to claim 1, characterised thereby, that the toroidal core choke (5) is retained in the plug housing in a receptacle (3), which is injection-moulded integrally to the base plate (2) carrying the plug pins (1).
  3. Mains plug according to claim 2, characterised thereby, that the receptacle (3) on the side remote from the plug pins (1) carries two soldering or pinching contact sleeves (4) for the electrical connection of the cable cores (8).
  4. Mains plug according to claim 2 or 3, characterised thereby, that the plug housing (7) is formed at the connecting cable in the shape of a EURO-plug by injection-moulding around the remaining plug parts with an elastic synthetic material.
