Abstract

A water trampoline includes a buoyant inflatable base formed from a plurality of individual buoyant chambers interconnected to define the support for the trampoline. A rigid support frame consisting of an assembled plurality of individual legs is removably attached to the upper surface of the buoyant base member and a jumping cover is resiliently attached to the frame to position the cover above the water on which the base is floating. A shock absorbing cover is positioned over a portion of the base and the frame together with the interconnecting resilient-matting to prevent user contact with these elements. A detachably connected cushioned platform is mounted to overlie a portion of the shock absorbing cover, the frame and the base in a stacked arrangement to provide an elongated takeoff area.

Description

The invention relates to a water trampoline comprising a support body which forms a base frame and is filled with gas, such as air, arranged on a rigid body, and a spring covering, at least partially spanning the interior of the base frame, such as a jumping sheet.

Durch die Grundplatte bedingt ergeben sich auch Transportprobleme.DE-U-7 628 027 shows a water trampoline which comprises a tubular tire made of rubber which is received on a base plate made of plastic. From the tubular tire start belts that absorb the jump covering. The base plate is required because the tubular tires do not have the necessary stability to give the jumping covering, like the jumping mat, the required pretension. Although a corresponding trampoline is buoyant, water can accumulate to an undesirable extent between the rubber hose and the base plate, so that when the jumping covering extends in the direction of the floor, it comes into contact with the water, thereby reducing the jumping properties. There is also a risk of injury in the area between the spring covering and the rubber hose, that is also the area of the spring springs. The base plate also causes transportation problems.

The object of the present invention is to provide a water trampoline of the type mentioned in such a way that the jumping properties of the jumping covering cannot be negatively influenced by the water, that furthermore there is no risk of injury and that there is the possibility of jumping from different heights of the frame to jump. Finally, it should be possible to transport the trampoline easily and in a space-saving manner.

The object is achieved in that the rigid body is designed as a holding frame which is arranged on the supporting body, that the jump covering is attached to the holding frame, that at least the holding frame and the areas of the spring covering having the fastening elements leading to the holding frame are covered at least one shock absorbing element and that the base frame has at least in one section an elevation extending over the holding frame. The base frame preferably has a rectangular shape with four separately inflatable chambers, the holding frame itself being detachably arranged on the upper surface of the base frame. The inherently stable holding frame can consist of square tubes which can be plugged together and which are fastened to the base frame by means of quick-release fastenings. The quick release fasteners can be vulcanized to the frame.

The fact that the spring covering starts from a stable holding frame ensures that the frame retains the geometry required to tension the jumping sheet even when pressure is applied to the spring covering. Nevertheless, the entire water trampoline can be transported in a space-saving manner, since the base frame can be folded up even after the air has been deflated and the holding frame can be broken down into the four frame legs, which are connected via plug connections to produce the frame.

In order to easily connect the jumping mat to the holding frame, the latter preferably has on its inner sides extending wave-like holders, into which the springs extending from the jumping mat are hung.

In order to exclude the risk of injury that could occur due to impact in the area between the holding frame and jumping mat, according to a further feature of the teaching according to the invention, this area is covered by a shock-absorbing element, which preferably consists of a wedge-shaped mat, which encompasses the outside of the holding frame and extends into the jumping mat to an extent in which the springs are no longer freely accessible. The circumferential or section-wedge-shaped mat has its greatest strength in the area of the holding frame.

In order to enable jumping from different heights from the base frame onto the jumping mat, preferably one leg of the rectangular base frame has a raised platform which is formed by inflatable air cushions extending from the holding frame. Preferably, the pedestal consists of two z. B. connected by vulcanizing air cushions, the length of which is selected so that a step formation is given in the end regions. In other words, the lower air cushion has a smaller length than the associated leg of the base frame on which the platform is arranged. The same applies to the air cushions arranged one above the other.

In order to enable easy climbing of the water trampoline according to the invention, it is proposed in a further embodiment that handles and / or steps arranged at least in the area of the platform on the outer wall of the base frame. B. are vulcanized. In this case, in the area of the handles and / or steps starting from the base frame, a plate-shaped element extending into the water can be provided, onto which a user of the trampoline can first get and support himself around the frame and / or the platform to reach. Such a configuration is advantageous, since otherwise climbing the base frame would require considerable effort.

A water trampoline according to the invention can, for. B. have a size of 5 m by 3.50 m, the height of the base frame is approximately 80 cm and that of each pedestal cushion is 40 cm. As a result, the free surface of the platform is approx. 1.40 m - 1.50 m above the water surface. Due to the distance of approximately 0.80 cm between the surface of the platform and the jumping mat, there is also the particular advantage that jumping into the trampoline is made easier.

Finally, according to a further embodiment, the accessible surface of the air cushions forming the pedestal is structured in order to avoid slipping.

Further details, advantages and features of the invention result not only from the claims and their individual features, but also from the following description of a preferred exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing.

The water trampoline 10 shown in detail and in plan view in FIG. 1 consists of a tubular base frame 12, on the upper surface 13 of which a holding frame 14 is preferably detachably arranged in the central region thereof. The base frame 12, which has a rectangular shape, can be composed of four chambers, the bulkheads 15 of which run in the central region of the frame legs. The holding frame 14 itself consists of square tubes which are assembled by means of web connections and which are mitred. The legs or leg portions 16, 18, 20 shown are releasably connected to the baris frame 12 via quick-release fastenings, one of which is provided with the reference number 22, the quick-release fasteners being vulcanized onto the tubular base frame. The quick-release fastenings 22 not only ensure that the holding frame 14 is arranged in a stationary manner on the base frame 12, but that it can also be easily attached or detached, so that the water trampoline 10 according to the invention can be assembled and disassembled quickly. The inner surface of the holding frame 14 and thus of the base frame 12 is covered by a jumping mat 24 which is connected to the frame legs 16, 18, 20 via springs 26 and 28. In this case, a wave-like holder 38, which extends in its longitudinal direction and into which the springs 26, 28 for the jumping mat 24 are hung, can preferably be provided on the inner sides of the legs.

In order to rule out that the steel frame 14, the holder 30 and the springs 26 and 28 are freely accessible from above, which would increase the risk of injury, at least this area is covered by a shock-absorbing element 32 such as a wedge-shaped foam mat. The strength of the shock absorbing element 32 is strongest in the area of the frame legs 16, 18, 20 and decreases towards the jumping mat 24. Furthermore, the shock-absorbing element 32 has an angled leg 34 which encompasses the outside of the frame leg 16, 18, 20, so that a secure fixing of the protective mat 32 is possible without further fastening elements.

A platform 38 is arranged on at least one leg (in the exemplary embodiment on the leg 36) of the base frame 12 and thus on the leg 18 of the steel frame 14, in order to provide a jumping surface which is increased from the surface of the steel frame 14. The platform 38 consists of two superimposed and vulcanized air cushions 40, 42, the elongated extent of which to form steps 44, 46 is different and less than the length of the leg 36. The walk-on surface of each cushion 40, 42 can furthermore have a structure 48, 50 in order to reduce the risk of slipping.

The lower air cushion 40 also preferably has an unspecified board-shaped holding element which is detachably connected to the leg 18 of the steel or holding frame 14.

Dabei erstreckt sich das Halteelement 58 rampenförmig im Wasser, weist also zur Wasseroberfläche im Bereich des Schenkels 52 eine geringere Höhe als an seinem freien Ende 60 auf.FIGS. 3 and 3 also explain that holding elements 54 or steps 56 are arranged in the area of the platform 38 on at least one outer wall of the base frame 12 (in the exemplary embodiment on the leg 52 not shown in FIG. 1), so as to climb onto it to facilitate the water trampoline 10. Furthermore, a plate-shaped element 58 arranged in this area can be provided, which extends into the water from the bottom area of the base frame 12, that is to say from the leg 52 in the exemplary embodiment, in order to provide a holding surface for a float, from which the water trampoline 10 should be climbed. In this case, the holding element 58 extends in the form of a ramp in the water, ie it has a lower height than the free end 60 of the leg 52 in the region of the leg 52.
