Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a bottle with an integrally formed handle having a pass-through hole. The invention preferably relates to bottles with a larger volume, in particular from 1 to 10 liters, made of plastic or glass, such as are used for detergents or detergent additives.
Handle bottles of the aforementioned type in use have a handle molded onto the upper half of the bottle. Such an arrangement of the handle brings advantages when carrying the container, but considerable disadvantages when pouring or dosing into a measuring vessel. The tilting of the bottle required for this requires an articulated movement of the arm holding the bottle, which due to the low center of gravity of the bottle can only be carried out with considerable effort and usually only with the help of the other hand. A further disadvantage of known bottles with a molded handle is due to the fact that the storage volume and in the transport packaging are considerably larger than in bottles with handle strips.
The invention has for its object to provide a user-friendly packaging, which can be dosed with one hand without great effort, which is ergonomically convenient in the hand or in the "pouring arm" and at the same time is economical to pack, store and transport . For the bottle of the type mentioned above with a molded handle and pass-through hole, the solution according to the invention consists in the handle being apart there are opposite recessed grips in the lower half of the bottle, which essentially extend in the longitudinal direction of the bottle, and a gripping hole connecting the upper ends of the recessed grips facing the bottle mouth in the form of a thumb hole.
The thumb hole should be below the height of the center of gravity of the filled, upright bottle. In other words, this means that the thumb hole and thus also the recessed grips are to be arranged below approximately half the filling volume of the marking center line. Characterized in that the recessed handles are positioned according to the invention in the lower half of the bottle body and end at the upper end in the thumb hole, it is achieved that the thumb hole is to be used as an axis of rotation when emptying the bottle, the filled bottle being slightly overweight towards the mouth side can.
- Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht einer aufrechtstehenden Flasche mit Griffmulden und Daumenloch;
- Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt längs der Linie II-II von Fig. 1;
- Figure 1 is a side view of an upright bottle with recessed grips and thumb hole.
- Fig. 2 is a cross section along the line II-II of Fig. 1;
- Fig. 3 is a cross section along the line III-III of Fig. 1; and
- Fig. 4 is a side view of the pouring position of the bottle with the thumb hole as a pivot axis.
When using the bottle, for example when metering the bottle contents into a measuring vessel, the "pouring hand" is placed around the curved
Due to the position of the
