Claims (2)

Paper supply holder for printing mechanisms having a depositing surface (AP) for receiving a stack of single sheets which is arranged resiliently between the depositing surface and the separation corner tabs (VE) covering the lower corners, and in which the single sheets are drawn off singly from the stack with the aid of a drawing-off element (A) after overcoming the separation corner tabs (VE), a distance element (D) which slightly protrudes from the paper stack (P) relative to the separation corner tabs (VE) being arranged between the separation corner tabs (VE) and the drawing-off element (A), characterized in that the distance element consists of a cuneiform part (K) and of an adjoining distance part (G) made of a material with a greater frictional force than paper.
