Abstract
Bei einer Brandschutzverglasung nach DIN 4102, die aus einem metallischen, Holz- oder silikatischen Rahmen (6) mit Glashalteleisten (7) und mindestens einer transparenten, ho mogenen, armierten oder Verbund-Scheibe, als Einzel- oder Mehrscheibenverglasung, aus Glas oder Glaskeramik sowie dazugehörigen Dichtungen (5) bzw. Vorlegebändern besteht, wird ein bei Einsetzen des Brandes, vorzugsweise etwas zeit verzögert, sich ausdehnendes Mittel derart zwischen Scheibe und Rahmenteil angeordnet, daß sich ein hinreichend hoher Druck zwischen Scheibenrand und Rahmenteil senkrecht zur Scheibenfläche derart aufbaut, daß ohne zusätzliche Verbie gung des Scheibenrandes auch bei hohen Temperaturen bzw. nach langen Feuerwiderstandszeiten eine Anpressung des Randes der Scheibe (2) im Rahmen (6) sichergestellt wird.
