Description
- La présente invention est relative à une pièce d'horlogerie à calendrier comportant un anneau de quantième arrangé pour être entraîné par pas et une fois par jour au moyen d'un mécanisme commandé par l'organe moteur que porte la pièce d'horlogerie.
- Les pièces d'horlogerie de ce type sont connues. Les jours du mois 1 à 31 sont inscrits sur l'anneau de quantième apparaissant à tour de rôle derrière un guichet découpé dans le cadran. On a imaginé toute une série de moyens pour entraîner cet anneau à partir de l'organe moteur. Un dispositif connu apparaîtra à la lecture de la présente description.
- Dans les montres anciennes ou sur des pièces particulières, la date n'apparaît pas sous forme de chiffres apparaissant à travers un guichet, mais est affichée au moyen d'une aiguille se déplaçant sur un cadran sur lequel sont apposés les repères relatifs à la date. Cette aiguille est soit coaxiale avec les aiguilles indiquant les heures et les minutes, soit déportée du centre de la montre pour parcourir un petit cadran gradué selon la date.
- Un exemple de la seconde réalisation est décrit dans le brevet CH-100 231 où la roue à canon porte un doigt flexible lequel entraîne d'une dent un renvoi à chaque tour de la roue à canon qui tourne à raison d'un tour en douze heures. Le renvoi engrène à son tour avec une roue de quantième qui fait un tour en vingt-quatre heures. L'aiguille de quantième est montée solidaire de la roue de quantième par l'intermédiaire d'un canon. La mise à jour de l'aiguille de quantième est réalisée en intervenant directement sur la roue de quantième.
- On comprendra qu'un tel mécanisme est inadapté aux montres modernes d'épaisseur fortement réduite sur lesquelles on voudrait disposer un affichage de la date au moyen d'une aiguille, comme le demande une certaine mode actuelle. Surtout un tel mécanisme obligerait de reconsidérer toute la construction des calibres connus aujourd'hui et qui comportent pour la plupart un quantième à guichet et avec lesquels on est parvenu à une épaisseur très réduite.
- Le but principal de la présente invention est de proposer une pièce d'horlogerie équipée d'un quantième à aiguille en se servant d'un mouvement primitivement prévu avec quantième à guichet. Ainsi le mécanisme de quantième selon l'invention pourra-t-il être appliqué à des mouvements de montre de construction moderne sans nécessiter de modifications majeures.
- Ce but est atteint grâce aux moyens revendiqués.
- L'invention sera comprise maintenant à l'aide de la description qui suit et du dessin qui l'illustre, à titre d'exemple, et dans lequel :
- la figure 1 est une vue en plan de la pièce d'horlogerie selon l'invention dans laquelle le cadran et le support de cadran ont été enlevés en grande partie ; et
- la figure 2 est une coupe à échelle agrandie selon la ligne II-II de la figure 1.
- Le mouvement présenté à la figure 1 a été débarrassé de son fond de cadran et de son cadran 1 qui n'apparaît que partiellement et sur lequel sont apposés les index des minutes 2 et des heures 3. Guidé dans une échancrure 4 pratiquée dans la platine 5 se trouve un anneau de quantième 6 qui est monté rotativement et coaxialement au centre du mouvement. L'anneau de quantième 6 est pourvu d'une denture intérieure composée de trente-et-une dents 7 soit une dent par jour du mois. L'anneau progresse par pas, un par jour à minuit. Il reçoit son mouvement de rotation par l'intermédiaire d'un train d'engrenages composé de la roue des heures 8 faisant un tour en douze heures, d'une roue intermédiaire de quantième 9 et d'une roue de quantième 10 faisant un tour en vingt-quatre heures. Un crochet à ressort 11 lié à la roue 10 fait avancer une fois par jour l'anneau 6 d'un pas quand le crochet 11 vient en prise avec une dent de l'anneau. La roue des heures 8 est normalement entraînée par l'organe moteur de la montre. Le mouvement comporte encore un mécanisme de remise au jour de l'anneau 6 commandé par la tige 12 et dont on ne voit que la pièce à trois dents 13. Enfin, le sautoir 14 permet de bien positionner l'anneau 6 entre les pas.
- Le mécanisme qui vient d'être décrit est classique et bien connu de l'état de la technique. Dans les montres où le quantième apparaît dans un guichet, l'anneau 6 porte encore les indications de la date apposées sur son pourtour. Dans ce cas, la largeur de l'anneau est plus grande que celle qui apparaît sur la figure de façon à ménager suffisamment de place pour y porter les inscriptions chiffrées.
- La pièce d'horlogerie selon l'invention porte une aiguille 15 d'affichage du quantième qui est commandée par l'anneau de quantième 6. Selon une réalisation préférée de l'invention, l'anneau 6 porte une denture extérieure 16 et des moyens de couplage 17, 18 et 19 pour coupler l'aiguille de quantième 15 à la denture 16.
- Comme il est apparent particulièrement sur la figure 2, ces moyens de couplage comprennent une roue de réduction 17 en prise avec la denture 16, un pignon de réduction 18 solidaire de la roue 17 et une roue de quantième 19 qui engrène avec le pignon 18. Ainsi quand l'anneau 6 avance d'un pas, l'aiguille 15 avancera aussi d'un pas dans le même sens. La figure 2 montre aussi que le renvoi formé de la roue 17 et du pignon 18 est monté pivotant sur un pont de quantième 20 fixé sur la platine 5 au moyen d'une vis 21 qui apparaît sur la figure 1. La figure 2 montre également que la roue de quantième 19 est chassée sur un axe 22 qui est monté pivotant à la fois dans le pont de quantième 20 et dans le support de cadran 23. L'axe 22 porte l'aiguille de quantième 15. Les repères de la date 23a apparaissent sur le cadran 1 de la montre (voir figure 1).
- Ainsi la construction qui vient d'être décrite utilise un mécanisme d'affichage de la date classique par anneau de quantième pour entraîner une aiguille de quantième en n'exigeant que peu de modifications et surtout en conservant au mouvement sa faible épaisseur d'origine. En effet, les mécanismes d'entraînement du disque, de son positionnement et de sa mise au jour sont utilisés tels quels pour entraîner, positionner et mettre au jour l'aiguille de quantième.
- On notera que l'aiguille 15 pourrait être remplacée par un disque (non représenté) sur lequel serait apposé un repère formant aiguille se déplaçant en face d'index que porterait le cadran 1. Ce disque pourrait aussi être contenu dans une ouverture percée dans le cadran pour gagner de la place en épaisseur.
