Abstract

1. Self-supporting wardrobe comprising a base (1), two side walls (3, 4), a rear wall (5), a top (2) and at least one wardrobe door (7) provided with a door handle (9), as well as an optimum interior equipment consisting of a rail, shelves (16), drawers and fittings (10 to 15), and a supporting structure carrying the entire weight of the wardrobe, characterized in that said base (1) and said top (2) are designed as two equally dimensioned frame structure elements supporting the entire weight of the wardrobe, and that the interior equipment is disposed in axial symmetry relative to the center height level of the wardrobe, said level receiving also the door handle (9) of the wardrobe door (7) attached directly at one of said side walls (4), so as to provide for attachment of the wardrobe door either on the left or on the right side with optional placement of the self-supporting wardrobe through the frame structure either of said base (1) or said top (2).
