Claims (2)

1. A push key with an actuating member (10) which is movable in a key housing in a straight line against the force of a spring element (11) from a position remote from the keying base to one close to the keying base, with two pin-like fixed contacts (3a, 3b) provided on one side of the actuating member (10) and running parallel to the direction of movement of the actuating member, said contacts being anchored in a base plate of the housing, with a crosspiece (1) made of electrically conductive flat material, which is fixed in the housing on the side of the two fixed contacts (3a, 3b) which faces away from the actuating member (10) transversely to said contacts and with its flat sides parallel to the course of the fixed contacts (3a, 3b), and with an attachment (2) projecting at right angles from the crosspiece (1) and bent in one piece with said crosspiece in the shape of a U, said attachment (2) being supported, independently of the position of the actuating member (10) with an end section (18), which faces away from the base plate, of its free-ending counter shank in a resilient manner either on the one (3a) of the two fixed contacts which is associated with said attachment, or on the actuating member (10), characterised in that the crosspiece (1) is bent in the area between the two fixed contacts (3a, 3b) in such a way that a first crosspiece section (4a) which is provided with the attachment (2) is at a greater distance from the first fixed contact (3a) which interacts with this attachment than the second crosspiece section (4b) is from the second fixed contact (3b), in that a fin (5) which is supported with its free end (6) continually, in a resilient manner, on the second fixed contact (3b) and which extends approximately parallel to said fixed contact (3b), is bent out of the second crosspiece section (4b) and in that the second crosspiece section (4b) is supported on its side which faces away from the second fixed contact (3b) on a housing wall (16) which is inclined towards the connecting line (13) of the two fixed contacts (3a, 3b) and the fin (5) is provided with its free end (6) facing away from the base plate (7) of the housing.
2. A push key as claimed in Claim 1, characterised in that the free end (6) of the fin (5) and the associated second fixed contact (3b) are coated with a tin coating, at least in the area of mutual contact.
