Description

The invention relates to a push button switch with at least one switching bridge which can be moved back and forth between two switching positions by means of a spring-loaded push button which is movably guided in the switch housing, the switching bridge connecting two fixed contacts on the switch housing in one position and in the other position by the switch housing Contact is lifted, in which switch the switching bridge is also held in its one switching position by means of a locking element, which can be brought into its locking position and the other time into its unlocking position when the push button is pressed.

Such a push button switch is known from DE-PS 24 16 969. This known push button switch consists of a large number of parts and is therefore very complex to manufacture and assemble.

The invention has for its object to construct a push button switch of the type described above so that it consists of only a few items that are easy to assemble.

The object is achieved according to the invention in that the push button has a tubular extension that extends over the entire height of the switch housing and is flattened on one side , into which a slide, which is movably guided in a transverse groove of the switch housing, engages with a pin formed on it, and further that the switching bridge is fixed to one arranged on the tubular extension, laterally projecting supporting part and is pressed by the spring acting on the push button in one switch position against the contacts arranged on the switch housing. As a result of this structural design of the switch, only a single spring is required, which performs both the function of resetting the push button and pressing the switching bridge R n on the contacts fixed to the housing. The switching bridge simultaneously takes over the fixing of the push button in one position and in the other position, in which the switching bridge is lifted from the contact fixed to the housing, the push button is fixed by the slide, which then lies with its pin in the recessed recess of the central pin and so on holds the push button in this position against the force of the spring.

So that the spring can press the switching bridge against the contacts fixed to the housing, the heart-shaped guide groove is elongated at its lower tip, the length of the slot being dimensioned so that the switching bridge comes into contact with the contacts fixed to the housing without the pin at the end of the Slot is present.

The assembly of the spring is particularly simple in that a coil spring is arranged concentrically on the tubular extension as a spring and is supported at one end on a projecting edge of the push button and at the other end in a circular recess in the switch housing.

To reduce the components of the switch also contributes to the fact that the supporting part and the switching bridge are integrally formed as a T-shaped contact piece, the T-bar forming the switching bridge and the T-shaped contact piece with its shaft in a through both walls of the tubular extension through transverse slot inserted and by means of a locking tongue provided on the shaft in the cavity of the tubular approach is locked. This means that not only the i'ragteil and the switching bridge are combined into a single component, but there are also no separate fastening parts.

Die gehäusefesten Kontakte 8 sind mit aus dem Vorsprung 7 herausragenden Kontaktfahnen 9 verbunden.1 with a switch housing is referred to, in which a push-button 3 having a tubular extension 2 is slidably guided. A helical spring 4 is arranged concentrically to the tubular extension 2 and is supported at one end on an edge 5 formed on the push button 3 and at the other end in a circular recess 6 of the switch housing 1. At the lower end of the switch housing 1, a lateral projection 7 is formed, in which two contacts 8 fixed to the housing are arranged side by side. The contacts 8 fixed to the housing are connected to contact tabs 9 protruding from the projection 7.

In the switch housing 1, a transverse groove 10 is provided, in which a slide 11 is movably guided. On the slide 11, a pin 12 is formed, which in one on the flattened side of the tubular extension 2 formed heart-shaped guide groove 14 protrudes. The heart-shaped guide groove is guided around a central pin 15, which has a locking recess 16, in which the pin 12 bears against the central pin 15 in the one switching position, as shown in FIG. 1. The lower tip 17 of the heart-shaped guide groove 14 merges into a slot 18. Below the slot 18, a transverse slot 19 is provided, which passes through both walls of the tubular extension. This transverse slot 19 serves to receive a T-shaped contact piece 20, the T-bar 21 of which forms a switching bridge for the contacts 8 fixed to the housing. With its shaft 22, the T-shaped contact piece 20 is inserted into the transverse slot 19 on the tubular extension 2 of the push button 2. On the shaft 22 of the T-shaped contact piece 20, a latching tongue 23 is also provided which, after the shaft 22 has been inserted into the transverse slot 19, springs upwards in the cavity 24 of the tubular extension 2 and is thereby behind one wall of the tubular extension 2 hooked, so that the T-shaped contact piece 20 is thereby held on the tubular extension 2.

In Fig. 1 the push button switch is shown in the switching position in which the switching bridge 21 is lifted from the contacts 8 fixed to the housing. The pin 12 of the slider 11 is located in the recess 16 of the central pin 15. As a result, the push button 3 is held against the force of the coil spring 4 in the position shown, in which the switching bridge 21 is lifted from the contacts 8 fixed to the housing. When the push button 3 is depressed, the pin 12 abuts the edge 25 of the guide groove 14 lying above the locking recess 15. The slide 11 is thereby laterally displaced in the transverse groove 10 so that its pin 12 lies over the vertical part 26 of the heart-shaped guide groove 14. When the push button 3 is released, it is now pressed upwards by the coil spring 4, whereby the vertical part 26 of the heart-shaped guide groove 14 passes the pin 12. The pin 12 finally meets a lower run-on slope 27 of the heart-shaped guide groove 14 and slides along it, so that the slider 11 is again displaced in the transverse groove. Finally, the pin 12 passes through the slot 18. The push button 3 is pressed upwards by the helical spring 4 until the switching bridge 21 bears on the contacts 8 fixed to the housing. The contact pressure of the switching bridge 21 on the housing-fixed contact is exerted by the coil spring 4. The length of the slot 18 is dimensioned such that the pin 12 does not yet abut the end of the slot 18 when the switching bridge 21 is in contact with the contacts 8 fixed to the housing. Thus, the switching bridge 21 can freely contact the contacts 8 fixed to the housing.

When the push button 3 is actuated again, the push button 3 with the outer contour 28 of the central pin 15 abuts the pin 12 and this slides along the outer contour 28 into the upper right half of the heart-shaped guide groove 14. When the push button 3 is released, the pin 12 slides into the Locking recess 16 of the central pin 15 and holds the push button in turn in the other switching position, in which the switching bridge 21 is lifted from the contacts 8 fixed to the housing.

An insertion groove 29 is formed in the right half of the heart-shaped guide groove 14, through which the slide 11 inserted into the transverse groove 10 from the outside can be inserted with its pin 12 into the heart-shaped guide groove 14.
