Abstract

1. A method for the heating or partial heating of metal workpieces by multiple burners supplied with mixtures of fuel gas-oxygen mixtures, characterised in that two kinds of flame gases, A, B, are used, and that the flame gas A is supplied in a mixing proportion smaller than the mixing proportion for maximum ignition speed and flame gas B is supplied in a mixing proportion greater than the mixing proportion for maximum ignition speed.
