Da es zunehmend üblich ist, Container beim Versender und/oder Empfänger zumindest vorübergehend als Pufferlager zu verwenden, bietet die Erfindunq den besonderen Vorteil, daß auch bei einer Containerladung, die aus unterschiedlichen Waren besteht, jede einzelne Ware ohne weiteres zugänglich ist, ohne daß im wesentlichen der gesamte Container geleert werden muß. Diese Möglichkeit bieten andernfalls lediglich sogenannte Palettenregalläger, die jedoch aufwendig sind und in jedem Falle zunächst das Umsetzen der gelagerten Waren von einem Transportfahrzeug oder auch aus einem Container in das Regallager erfordert. Mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Container können große Materialmengen beim Erzeuger oder Verbraucher gelagert und ohne Umladen einzelner Paletten transportiert werden. Die erfindungsgemäßen Container können übereinander gestapelt und qgf. auch dicht an dicht nebeneinander qesetzt werden, so daß sich erhebliche Lagerkapazitäten ergeben.
