Claims (3)

1. An electric tool, more particularly an impact screwdriver, in which a dog clutch (23) having halves which can move between a separated position and an engaged position is disposed between an output shaft (13) and a driving shaft (12), and which has for adjusting the depth of engagement dog clutch teeth having flanks extending convergently at least in the zone adjacent each tooth tip, characterised in that the adjusting device (11, 19) has an axially adjustable pin (19) disposed in the central bore of an intermediate shaft (15) to which one clutch half is attached and one of whose ends acts as a stop to limit the depth of engagement of the dog clutch (23).
2. An electric tool according to Claim 1, characterised in that a spring (21) exerting a separating pressure on the clutch halves is disposed between the intermediate shaft (15) and the output shaft (13).

An electric tool according to Claims 1 or 2, characterised in that the adjusting device (11, 19) has an actuating knob (29) which is rotatably retained in the machine casing (16) and to which one end (27) of a supporting member is coupled whose central zone (26) is retained in a screwthreading and which can be rotated in such screwthreading by rotating the actuating knob (29), while the other end of the supporting member has portion (25) extending at an inclination in its axial direction and forms the adjustable stop for limiting the depth of engagement of the dog clutch teeth.
